The view is amazing, the house is cute! We all loved being there.

Great location in mountain cove. Best of both worlds, BRP is 5-10 minutes away and Interstate is 5-10 minutes away. Very clean and comfortable.
I am sure this only comes up when there is rain during your stay, but a covered out door sitting space would be nice.

Functional
The listing providing details on the accommodations should be specific in regards to bathrooms. This property offers one full bath and one half bath
Listing states something like “two bathrooms with a bath”. Very unclear. Listing should be similar to areas estate listing.
We expected two full baths

The house is an Older rancher that was clean and pretty well appointed in a quiet location. We saw bears on three different occasions as they appear to be passing through the area. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch listening to the night sounds. We could use Uber or Lyft to get into town which was nice.
I wouldn’t say dislike but wish the property would have had a covered porch. It rains often and we had to keep moving inside. We also thought a jacuzzi would have been perfect for after our hikes. The place is still fairly priced.

clean, convenient, exceeded our expectations, welcoming and cozy. surprisingly well stocked had house decorated for Christmas, that was a nice surprise.
we didn't see any bears. would have been nice to have had 2 bathrooms instead of 1 1/2. conveniently located close to Biltmore Estate.

We saw bears on the front lawn! So exciting! The home was very clean and very tasty decorated!
We kind of missed a second TV for the kiddos.

We loved the property! We saw bears, we sat on the front porch/deck and had morning coffee and watched the smoke dissipate from the mountains, we listened to the babbling brook, we drank wine on the deck/porch in the evening and listened to the frogs and insects. Beds were comfortable although I thought I read 1 king, 2 queens...it has 1 king, 1 queen, and 2 twins. Oops!
No Kleenex. Don't arrive even 10 minutes early...the code only works at check in time. What can I say, we were excited. Also, I don't appreciate pre-cleaning prior to checkout.... really, $1800/3 nights isn't enough? I have to strip the beds and gather all dirty towels and put them together? I have to clean and put away all dishes? Starting the dishwasher before we left isn't sufficient? Maybe this process needs to be revisited.

It was comfortable, clean and very tastefully decorated. Highly recommend and would stay here again.
No cons.

Central to the places we wanted to visit. Good hiking nearby. Linens seemed new and clean. The dining table was a nice size and good for us, as we ordered in some delicious meals from nearby very busy restaurants. Tons of grocery stores near by.
The yard surrounding not interesting or well cared for. A backyard porch with table for sitting outside would have been nice. The porch in photos is facing the street, not where I wanted to hang out. The cabinets in kitchen were so high I couldn't reach most of the bowls, glasses, and felt uncomfortable trying to get things out of cabinets, luckily my son is tall. A very tall person planned this kitchen.

We liked everything about the house itself. The bedrooms & beds were very comfy. We were able to cook meals in the kitchen & eat together in the dining room. I'm so glad there's a washer & dryer in the basement, so we didn't have much dirty laundry to bring home. It was away from the busy city, but close to a lot of places. It was nice to be able to sit in the comfy seats on the front porch .
It was just a little difficult to park our car in the garage.

Great driving access to Asheville and surrounding area. Unexpected upside access to blue ridge parkway. Well stocked with needed amenities. Enjoyed sitting on front deck.

It was a perfect place for a long over due family get together.
The only thing missing for us was a fire pit but this did not effect our get together
Perfect distance from downtown.

Very clean house with all the amenities we needed, in a great location close to restaurants and grocery stores. On a mountainside but still not too remote.
