Great location
Great location that you can walk to village gondola. Too hot with AC on. Check in&out was in different location.

Great Stay
Great place, very close to the village, walking distance. Roomy, clean.

Great location, lots of stairs
This condo was comfortable, clean, and well-appointed. Conveniently close to the Village, but inconveniently located relative to the parking lot. The long concrete walkway + 18 steep wooden steps to the front door + 14 inside steps up to the loft bedroom made for an exhausting move-in, but once that was done I found this condo to be pretty cozy. A few minor issues: 1) when we were there (mid-September), the living room was much darker than shown in the official picture because the outside porch was stacked high on both sides with wood covered by tarps, 2) the condo seemed strangely short of mugs and plates, but we eventually discovered most were left in the dishwasher from the previous guests, 3) when VDI got busy on the weekend bandwith became a problem (for TV and computer use), 4) when there is a breeze, the roof on this upper-level condo creaks pretty loudly; when there are 40-50 mph winds (as on our last night) - wow! All in all I would stay here again if I had to, but would prefer a brighter unit with fewer stairs closer to my parking space. On the other hand, if proximity to the hot tub and pool is important to you, both those features are right at the bottom of the stairs.

Amazing place to stay!
This cabin was super cozy and clean. I really liked how I was walking distance to the village. It's was super comfortable and cozy and really clean. It had everything you needed for a great weekend away.

Our Summer Vacation
We hiked, we shopped, we ate, we watched videos, we napped. We had a great time. We enjoy the Warming Hut Restaurant (formerly CJ's, formerly Alpenrose) for its outdoor patio and location. Our dog loves Tailwaggers.

Good location
We like staying here because it across the street from the village--you can pop over and get bagels in the morning, or go over to check out the shops after skiing. It is also right on the ski back trail. Downsides are somewhat dated fixtures, no covered parking and a somewhat noisy fridge. However, we would definitely come back. Unit is cozy and warm.

Great Value!
We loved the ease and convenience of booking this unit. The location was amazing. Walking distance to the village center, and right off of the Downtown Bike Trail. The unit was clean and perfectly comfortable for my family with our dog. The pool, jacuzzi and bbq area were nice and clean, and I loved that there was a laundry facility on property. The property managers were visible, friendly, and professional. We're looking forward to our next stay.

Ok if you need a pet friendly place.
A few things were disappointing. First, the hot water did not run efficiently. The was only enough for one full shower. You have to wait a couple of hours for the next shower if you want warm water. Second, it was quite a hike to the gondola and certainly not easy with ski boots; however, without boots, the hike to the village was pleasant. Third, the parking space to the condo itself was painful to get to and from, especially if you are carrying luggages and food. Also, the ramp leading to and from the condo to the parking lot is somewhat steep, especially with boots and snow on the ground. And finally, the master bedroom is not a room but a loft. I guess it does subtly mention that in the description but it still was a disappointment. On the positive side, the condo was really close to the hot tub. We would look for an alternative pet friendly place next time but if you short on options it's fine and comfortable.

Nice Location
Early Oct. stay. Nice location & easy access via trail for walking to the village. The unit is dated but clean & comfortable. Nice balcony view. Only drawback was the steep stairs up to the unit (but I'm a bit out of shape)& a bear came by nightly rumaging for food.

Good location, so/so unit
Good location within short walk of Village, however the unit was very old and not well maintained. There were mice in the kitchen! Old and dark decor, bathrooms tiny, dark and probably hadn’t been updated since the 1970’s. “Master” bedroom was not private - actually a sleeping loft open to rest of unit with no way to close a door. Was over- priced for the accommodations amd I would not recommend to anyone nor would I ever stay there again. It feels as if it was Mia-represented.

Location, Location
Great location! The unit is Located directly in front of the jacuzzi/pool and across the street from the village. The furnishings are a bit dated but we found it to be cozy. Check in was very quick and easy, we were even allowed to get the keys early as the condo was ready for us before 4pm. We would definitely use this management company and stay at this condo again.

Cozy place close to the Village
I chose this rental because of how close it was to the Village and it didn't disappoint. A group of 6 slept perfectly, everything in the kitchen worked great. The sofa bed mattress is old and they should change it, but other than that I give this cabin a 10.

Beautiful place to stay
I really liked the room, it was so nice I was content with staying inside during my trip, fire going, drinking coffee, and sitting in the recliner :-)

good location
It's an easy walk to the Village. There were mouse droppings on the balcony... The loft needs window covering as it is very bright in the morning - not my preference. The tv was tuned to one station and we couldn't change it. No instructions were provided. The binder is out of date as none of the restaurants that show delivery, deliver. The screen door needs a little maintenance as it is hard to open. The dining room table is wobbly.

VDI Birthday weeknd
I won a Mammoth Vacation on an Instagram post! My mom and I share birthday's, so we decided to use my win for "our" weekend. We chose Val D'Isere #3 together. Everything was great!! Mammoth Sierra Reservations made it super easy to book, and everything went smooth! We had a blast! Thank you!!

Nice location but going up the hill and stairs was hard on the elders. Had dinner at a friends in the same complex and their unit was adorable! #3 needs updated. still had a great time-how can you not!

Overall good. We were there during the Final Four tournament and were disappointed with the outdated television. The bathrooms also need an update.

Great customer service, great location!
Overall the unit was very nice and well equipped. Wish I would have known it had a Keurig and so many spices because it would have changed what I brought from my kitchen. Less than a week before our trip, we needed to shift our vacation forward by a day. The office staff and manager were super helpful and friendly. They were able to accommodate our request and didn’t charge us the change fee that was in the contract. The only negative is that there are a lot of stairs between the parking lot and the upstairs units. I got my workout hauling all our stuff up there.

Not a true "Sleeps 6"
Overall we had a very good experience. Although dated, the condo is very homey and steps away from the village. Also, we came in early, and because there were no previous occupants, we were permitted early check-in.
However, our one and only gripe is that the listing indicates "Sleeps 6." Well, the sofa bed is in unusable condition. It took some work to pull the bed out from the couch because the frame is bent. Once we were able to get it out, springs on the bedframe were broken. The mattress was also quite beat-up. We were forced to pull the mattress off the frame and put it on the floor because we were worried that more springs would snap in the middle of the night.
This rental should be described as sleeps 4 or the sofa bed should be replaced or fixed.

Great Getaway
Spent an excellent weekend away in Mammoth staying at this home. It was the perfect size and in the best location. The property was very dog friendly. Would definitely visit again.

This condo needs updates
The carpet needs replacing, and the furniture is old and not clean. It’s time for a remodel of the bathrooms too. I haven’t seen a tube TV in years! Someone needs to show they care about this condo. Also, note that the condo is up a long flight of stairs, after a steep walk up a hill and parking close to the door is not available.

Unit 3
The condo complex was great. Location perfect. Property manager the BEST! The parking lot cleared of snow and even our cars snow blowed out. We really had a wonderful time here, but I would not stay in Unit 3 again. And would consider the hotel across the street for the same cost.
The unit was clean and the beds/bedding comfortable but;
The bathroom faucet downstairs can't be shut off fully.
The recliner chair sides are broken and fall open when you sit.
The lighting throughout the unit is dim and dingy.
The baseboard heat knocks LOUDLY.
The kitchen is understocked in dishes, utensils, pots, pans. Limited covers for pots, if any.
The rug is stained.
Over all the unit is run down. Paying top dollar for this unit is not worth the cost. However, we did see other units in this complex that are completely updated with fully stocked kitchens, brightly lit with furniture that wasn't falling apart.

Great location!
The location of this condo is amazing! Such easy access to the village and the gondola! It’s the first time my kids haven’t complained about the walk!! :). The condo itself is dated - my kids did get a kick out of watching movies on VHS (but they didn’t understand waiting for it to rewind!) The bed pullout couch was not comfortable at all - we ended up just sleeping on the couch itself.

Needs an Upgrade and Linen Service
The main positive of this unit is that it's right between the village and ski back trail. On the flip side, the unit is really in need of upgrading. Of particular note is the fold out bed which is simply not usable by a single adult much less two. Also, the linen service consists of driving to town with all the dirty towels and exchanging them in the rental office. For the rates charged per night, the towels should be swapped out every few days.

Returning To Mammoth, Probably Not To This Unit
The overall condition of this unit has become below standard. We love coming to Mammoth and have stayed at this unit previously as well as various other units in this complex. It seems as if the carpet was filthy with several noticible stains and the unit seems to be quite worn. Perhaps tiling the unit could be a solution to keep the flooring cleaner? Great location, close to village and many popular shops and restaurants.

NEEDS WORK
There were a few issues with the property. The master bathroom has a leaky toilet that continued to flush through out the night. The skylight in the master bedroom allows a tremendous amount of light in the morning and with a full moon, a lot of light at night. The unit is very dated and needs new or better carpeting as there is a musty smell in the unit. It is a satisfactory unit that served our purpose but we will look for better accomodations on our next trip to Mammoth.

Fourth of July
There were rat droppings in the patio when we arrived. One of the twin beds was off it's base -- wobbly.
The hike up to the condo was a challenge for the elderly in the group - would have been nice to know that it sat at the top of a hill and upstairs to the complex.

Beautiful condo a short walk from the village
This condo was in a great location just a short walk from the village and the village gondola. The unit itself was clean and everything was in good condition. It's a bit dated, but not unusual for Mammoth. The only downside during our stay was that the hot tub was broken the first day but they fixed it.

Great property
This is a very nice cozy property just a short walk away from gondola. My only complaint was that water heater broke down on our second day of stay and we were without hot water that night. However, Mammoth Mountain Vacations compensated us for our inconvenience - very good service.

Comfy but dated
This place fit our needs, but it would be nice if the owners would update a bit - since there is no wifi/internet, we would have really enjoyed some games to play. The bed upstairs was comfortable

Pace Vacation
Unfortunately, we had to leave early due to the fires in the area which compromised the air quality. My husband has medical issues that did not allow us to stay. Otherwise, we had a great time and the accomodations were perfect.
