Nestled in Big Bear, this attractive cabin for R 2,847 per night is a great choice for your next break. Welcome to Mountain Air, an AvantStay home! After a day of adventures on the mountains, lake, or one of the two local ski resorts, you will return to this home to relax and unwind with your family and friends. Stretch out in front of the fireplace, enjoy the deck and tree-lined lot, and challenge your cabin mates to a game of pool. This home has everything you need to create memories in the Big Bear Mountains. The log-style retreat was newly built and decorated in 2018. Only about 100 miles northeast of Los Angeles, Big Bear Lake is a beautiful and convenient break from the hustle and bustle of the city. This nature lover’s paradise provides endless year-round activities. In the winter, Big Bear Lake offers skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, and tubing. In the summer, visitors love to play water sports, horseback rides, golf, hike, and mountain bike. Head to Big Bear when you need a healthy dose of fresh air, exercise, and rejuvenation. Nearby Attractions: Bear Mountain Ski Resort and Golf Course, Snow Summit Ski Resort, Grizzly Manor Cafe, Dank Donuts, Big Bear Lake Brewing Company, Tropicali, Big Bear Alpine Zoo, Castle Rock, Boulder Bay Park, Big Bear Marina, Big Bear Discovery Center, Alpine Pedal Path. Experience Big Bear, AvantStay style. All AvantStay guests have access to our 24/7 guest experience line, a dedicated hospitality manager, and hotel-grade amenities. Home Truths: - Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in this home. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval there is a fine of $500 per pet. - Trifold floor mattresses and additional linens can be provided upon request. - Use of outdoor activities is prohibited from 10 pm - 7 am. - No amplified sound is permitted outside at any time. Indoor sound cannot be loud enough to be audible at the property line. - Winter weather warning- From November through March, all vehicles are required to carry chains in their vehicle. - Guests are responsible for disposing of trash at the local dumpsite in accordance with the City of Big Bear policy. Charges may apply if left on the property. -There is no air conditioning (A/C) available. Parking Details: 3 cars can park onsite. Garage access for 1 small car. This home comes with a pack n' play travel crib and a high chair available. --- The room configuration is as follows: Primary Bedroom / Queen bed Bedroom 2 / Queen bed Bedroom 3 / Queen bed --- Accidental Damage Protection: A non-refundable accidental damage protection plan has been included in the price of your reservation. Under this plan, you will not be held responsible to pay for accidental damage or loss to the rental property resulting from you or others in your party up to $2000. This plan does not cover intentional acts of a guest, gross negligence, or willful and wanton conduct, and/or damages caused by pets. This plan is not available for reservations 28 days or longer or reservations that require a security deposit. You will be asked to sign a Big Bear Good Neighbor Policy prior to your stay. This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs. As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation. Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees. There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions. As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards. IDs will be requested for verification after booking. Enjoyed the house/cabin. Very nice floor plan and on one level once inside. The backyard patio is alright, but too close to property to the rear, and there were a lot of people partying behind us each night of our stay. As a result patio wasn't relaxing during our stay, and so we couldn't really enjoy that part of the property.

Enjoyed the house/cabin. Very nice floor plan and on one level once inside. This is the first time we have used VRBO and I was super impressed. The house was impeccably clean and was everything we thought it would be. This is the first time we have used VRBO and I was super impressed. The house was impeccably clean and was everything we thought it would be. We were looking for a modern, beautiful place to be with family after Christmas. (The reality is that in Big Bear many homes have not been updated for decades.) This home was perfect! Our group was 5 adults and 1 child.
Every bedroom is spacious and the living and dining room easily accommodated our group. Believe it or not, not every home in Big Bear has a large dining table (which was important to us.) Here we were able to cook meals and dine at a gorgeous table.
And the bonus: a rec room with a pool table! We had so much fun shooting pool and playing music one night.
We came in winter but if you were there in spring there was also a back deck with a fire pit :)
The house is 5 minutes drive to Bear Mountain and Smow Summit. Also, 5 minutes drive to grocery stores and sporting rentals. The location is perfect! You feel like you are on a small street yet not far from the action.
Will definitely return as soon as we can!

Clean and comfy
Such a nice place at big bear. Our family enjoyed meals and board games on the large dining table, and the vibe of the home was farmhouse modern and comfy. The whole home was very clean and we felt comfortable throughout our stay.

Beautiful, comfortable, quiet! We loved everything about this house. The only thing we would change is for the kitchen to have a few more necessities for cooking, but nothing a quick trip to Vons couldn’t take care of. We’ll definitely be booking here again!

Stunning Home!
We had an amazing trip staying in this home!! The home is beautiful, you can tell the owners went above and beyond to make this accommodating for all types of people. The decor is beautiful. The 3 beds were comfortable and even the sofa bed accommodated our teens with no complaints. A huge perk that wasn’t in the listing is on the back deck there is a bbq, large picnic style table and a propane fire pit. The location was perfect. A very short drive from the village. Vons, Stater Bros and CVS are right down the street as well.

Cute & Modern
The cabin was gorgeous and just as pictured in the photos. There were 9 of us and we all had ample space in the rooms and in the living room. The sofa has a sofa bed and the kitchen is well stocked with cooking ware. We plan to stay at this location again next year!
