Nestled in Ohio, this charming house for R 3,113 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. We are living in our Dream Home! Built during 2020, our gray & teal Craftsman boasts a large lower level (9 foot ceilings) with private entrance and daylight windows perfect for your vacation get away while we live in the upper level. The large family room, TV, games, toys, dining area, and kitchenette make your stay together comfortable and memorable. There are four bedrooms and two bathrooms for your family and friends to utilize while you stay in this beautiful countryside home. Just outside your lower level sliding glass doors you will find a brand new hot tub with seven seats and a patio for outdoor dining with table chairs and gas grill. There is a huge side yard perfect for a game of football or frisbee. A fire ring is close by for an evening of hotdogs and marshmallows. With woods behind you, fields around you, and horses in the nearby pasture, you will be able to relax and enjoy the fresh air and gorgeous sun rises or bright night skies! Our driveway provides plenty of free parking with marked diagonal spots for our guests. The lower level is entered by using our front sidewalk and going down a series of eight long steps before entering your private sliding door entrance. We are only five miles from Madriver Ski Lodge , Ohio Caverns, and Marmon Valley Horse Farms. Bellefountaine boosts a traditional Midwest downtown with several fun shops, coffee spots and fine eateries. We are one hour from Columbus, one hour from Dayton and one hour from Cedarville University.

Very clean and spacious. Hosts were very responsive to our needs and a very nice couple. Lots of toys for the kids. Found everything we needed in the kitchenette. Hot tub was awesome. We visited nearby Ohio Caverns and loved it. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay at this apartment! It was clean and orderly, and check in and out was no problem.
The only "complaint" would be the access to the apartment because of the 2 elderly members of our group. There are stairs to go down behind the house to get to the apartment. The chain placed to the side did help some, but a more stable railing to hold on to would have been much better. But since this is a fairly new apartment, I'm sure they're still working on things. So hopefully this (a real railing) is something they're planning on adding.

This was our first family ski trip to Mad River. The location is perfect-just a short drive to the mountain. The house was spotless and the owners were very accommodating and quickly responded to questions. We had 8 adults and an infant and there was plenty of space for everyone. Highly recommend! We can’t wait to go back!

This property is truly amazing and perfect for families. We take a ski trip every year with our kids and their friends. My kids are spoiled and always want a place with a jacuzzi which is not always easy to find! This place was super clean and had everything we needed (so important when traveling with 7 people that we don't have to pack towels, blankets, silverware, plates, etc.). Very affordable and doesn't kill you on the cleaning fee like most places. This is the only place we have stayed that truly has everything a family could want such as 4 bedrooms (plenty of places to sleep), a hot tub, a ping pong table, shuffleboard, and a fire pit (although we were too tired to use it). We had kids ages from 13 to 24 and all had a great time. Dan and Annette were so wonderful, we needed a can opener and they went and bought one for us! We also visited the Ohio caverns on our way home. I would highly recommend this tour, as it was great for all ages. We will definitely come back and have already recommended this place to others. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us, Dan and Annette. We made wonderful family memories!

The property is easy to get too. Just a few minute drive from Bellefontaine. There is a lot of room. We had 6 people. 4 adults and 2 children. There was a lot of room to be together or have privacy. We plan on renting this location again in the future.

This is a very very nice country setting and very pleasant and quiet. The only drawback is you have to park in front and carry everything around back and go down a steep stairway to the entrance of the facility and if you are handicap it would not be feasible to stay here. Otherwise it is very nice. There are no handicap accessible accommodations at this facility, therefore you might want to choose another place but the owners are very nice and will help you out as much as possible. We enjoyed our stay and will go back of need be and made the best of our statly even though my husband was handicap. We managed very well.

We are a bunch of homeschooling mothers that wanted a refresh weekend before starting our rhythm for schooling this fall. I had 8 total ladies that stayed comfortably for 2 nights. I did bring a nice queen air mattress which worked out nicely in the loft room. The location is perfect and the property is secluded but convenient! We will stay here again if we come back to this area. Thank you both!

Breath Of Fresh Air
The experience began with a very simple checkin process that Dan & Annette provided with good communication as they happened to be away the wknd we visited. The place was very clean, beautifully carpeted (felt really nice on the feet!) and the kitchenette, bathrooms and living and sleeping spaces all modernized and very immaculate. We got good use of the ping pong table (we positioned it diagonally in the space provided) and polished our skills! The hot tub was used by our three teenagers at night and we enjoyed seeing the lawn light up with fireflies at dusk. We watched a couple of DVDs from their shelf of entertainment and played a couple of games that were provided as well.
The reason we were there was to attend a family wedding at Honey Birch Farms and it was only a couple of miles away! In addition, we went to the Ohio Caverns which was all of our first times visiting anything like that and it was spectacular. They have a crystal (stalactite) that’s estimated 200,000 years old! The caverns are only 4.5 miles away.
So, this place is a world away and very convenient at the same time!
Thank you again for the clean space and hospitality which I can only imagine is an extension of the kindness of Dan & Annette. Next time, hopefully we can meet you officially!

The fluffiest carpet!
This home was the perfect getaway for our little family for a weekend. The rooms were beautifully decorated and anything we needed was provided! We played A LOT of floor-zee and battleship amongst the rest of the provided games. Oh, I should say I loved the carpet! It was so plush and soft… it might even be cozy enough to sleep on!

Great stay for family with kids!
Was a very nice, new and clean property with lots of amenities, toys and games. You have the whole basement to yourselves and there was lots of room for our family. They accommodated us on a busy weekend for themselves and I would certainly recommend them as hosts and as to the place. Great stay, great value.

We went here for a board game weekend with friends. The property was very clean and new. The owners were very hospitable and we loved all the personal touches. They had a folding table for us, which allowed us to have extra space for food/games and they provided many breakfast items. They live right upstairs and when I needed something, they were willing to come right down and provide it.
We love going to Mad River Mountain with our family and have been meaning to stay overnight to also do the Ohio Caverns. We will definitely stay here when we come. Hopefully we can bring another family because two families with 1-3 children each would fit here well!

Wonderful Thanksgiving!
This property was the perfect place for my family to meet up for Thanksgiving. We had 7 adults and 5 kids ages 6 months- 8 years old, and we pulled off a Thanksgiving feast. We were worried because that is a lot of people to feed with only a kitchenette. But we each brought a cooler and there was plenty of space to keep coolers along the wall of the kitchenette. We also turned the top of the dresser in the Create room into a pantry to store the other extra food. Between the electric gridle and microwave that they provided, and an instant pot and portable electric burner that we brought we were able to heat up all of the food that we had prepared for Thanksgiving and had plenty of room to store the leftovers in the coolers and mini-fridge.
This place has the most luxurious carpeting, we almost didn't use the beds (they are nice, the carpet is just soooo awesome)! We were actually nervous when we were eating because the dining area is on the nice carpeting and with all of the kids we were worried we were going to spill something. We ended up putting a sheet down under the really nice high chair that they provided because the 18 month old loves throwing his food as much as he loves eating it. We just reminded the other kids to be careful, but if you are having a lot of kids there eating you might want to bring some sort of tarp/picnic cloth so you don't have to worry.
It was cold and wet out during our stay so we hung out inside the entire time and it was great. The family room is HUGE and they had a great assortment of toys for the kids to play with. One thing to note is that the play room (workout) has a queen bed on a loft. There are carpeted stairs up to the loft and it has a railing, but we didn't want any kids sleeping up there, so ironically, the only couple without kids ended up sleeping in the room that all of the kids were playing in haha! So as long as you have older kids, or adults that are willing to let the kids take over their bedroom during the day you will be fine like we were!
The hosts Dan and Annette are really nice, quick to respond to any messages and very accommodating. My family is very loud and rambunctious and they hosted Thanksgiving upstairs while we celebrated downstairs and they never complained. They seemed genuinely happy that our family was having fun in their house. You couldn't ask for better hosts.

Family reunion
Dan and Annette are super hosts. Accommodations were very comfortable. Each couple had their own private area while being able to enjoy a large common area. We enjoyed some of the breakfast items stocked in the fridge. A great peaceful relaxing country getaway!
