We have all you need to enjoy anything from a short weekend getaway to a full stay of a week if you like! We offer everything you could want or need while on a trip away from home. This third floor unit has a beautiful view over looking the Deschutes River that runs through central Oregon. This unit offers a King-Sized bed in the bedroom, and a queen Murphy Bed in the Living Room, for a total of 4 guests staying. The private bedroom offers their own king sized bed and bath, and then the main area has a Murphy bed that can fold up into the wall for more space if need be. This unit will also offer a beautiful fireplace to keep you cozy and warm on those snowy winter nights. Plus there is a full kitchen at your disposal for the Rachel Ray or Gordon Ramsey of your group! All of our guests will also have access to a heated indoor pool and hot tub. This is a pet friendly room. We allow a maximum of two pets and collect a pet fee of $50 per pet separately after you make your reservation. In this unit you will find your own private washer and dyer, this is one of three condos on property that offers this exclusive luxury!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The beds were harder than expected. I just wish the fees weren't so much. We spent $211.00 on fees alone.

5 stars for everything.. my ONLY suggestion is an extra blanket in the unit? (I get cold SUPER easily), other than that we LOVED this property! Clean, quiet, walked into the downtown area & back EASILY.. 👍

My husband and I came to Bend for a weekend getaway and loved our stay at Truth or Deer. Entry was easy, lots of room and great beds and pillows (which matters to us!) Our favorite part was the sound of the spillway right out the sliding glass door. It was like a built in white noise machine! And it was a great view of the river! While you can tell many things have been renovated in the space, you can still see some signs of the age of the building and pool. That was easily overlooked by us though because of all the other great features aforementioned.

Great Bend location - 30 min drive to Mt Bachelor with downtown within walking distance. Easy to check in and out of. Amazing view of the river from the porch. Set us up for an amazing ski trip!

I knew the property was older but didn’t expect the room to be dirty. I had to wipe everything down with Lysol wipes. There were dirty toilets. Hair left in sink and shower. The bedding was not fresh. Had to ask to have it changed. There were crumbs on the table and did not look like it had been vacuumed. The jacuzzi wasn’t working properly. This property did not meet my expectations.

Nice property and location. Dog friendly and does have a small area with bark next to building and large park nearby. However I’ve never seen so many “keep dogs off grass” signs on all the properties grass. Also no elevator. I would stay again. Thanks

In terms of positives, the view of the Deschutes River from this property is lovely. Being located on the Deschutes River trail was great for our runs and walks. This property is also close to downtown and the freeway, without the freeway noise, which was quite convenient. The neighbors were all quiet. We loved the electric fireplace. The unit was large with nice views. We appreciated that the unit was dog friendly! In terms of cons, this unit does get quite hot in the evenings when there are warmer temperatures in Bend. The dam located below the unit on the river is loud, as was the irrigation pump for the property, so it was less enjoyable to sit outside on the nice deck due to the loud noise than we had anticipated. Some of the dishes weren't clean and there were black flecks on some of the white towels. The shower heads are very low, even for a person who is short, and the water would get cold if two people took showers in a row.

Superb apartment perfect for us

Superb apartment perfect for us

Quaint apartment with almost everything you need for a weekend getaway. It does have a different smell, but nothing intensively assaulting to our olfactory senses. Bring your own coffee if you are a coffee connoisseur as the “pods” that are offered are not really made for that size coffee pot. My kiddo loves the Murphy bed and said they slept like “a dead body in a coffin”. -wow I wish I could sleep that good! The other bed, however, was more like a trampoline as every time my husband shifted I felt like I was going to get bounced out of bed. All and all. We loved this place. It was perfect for our little getaway. Close to downtown, and the old mill. The Ambience of the river is splendid as was the walk along it. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
