We were excited to spend our Christmas at the property. Unfortunately when we arrived at the property, the house wasn't cleaned from previous stay, we couldn't get hold of Segun and ended up booking hotel room downtown for the night. We got contacted by lovely Seguns assistant later that evening who apologised deeply, we got refunded for the night, she explained that unfortunately miscommunication happened between them and cleaners. She organised cleaners straight away who did good general clean of the property and got in the following day around lunch time.
House was well stocked with necessities.
House does need more tlc and Segun mentioned he would address all cons we voiced, like the master bedroom desperately needs a new mattress as the one we slept on had foam topper which made the bed extremely soft, really uncomfortable, we sank in 10 to 15 inches deep. Very unpleasant sleep for our backs. There was mold on the bathroom ceiling, or kitchens and bathrooms drawers need good clean from hair and grease. Also the rubbish bins outside have big hole and no lids which resulted in rubbish being spread by animals all over the driveway. We were happy to hear all of this would be addressed.
I'd suggest you bring your own bedding sheets and duvet covers unless you don't mind sleeping under polyester sheets.
Other than that we had lovely time seeing our greatgrandparents that live in Pittsburgh. We would very likely return here if we knew above was addressed.

Very nice place and very good location. You can see deers from your window every day while having breakfast. Nice.

We came to Pittsburgh to meet our friends from Canada. We love the idea of vacation homes because it gives space to relax together, connect over food and wine, and just relax in shared spaces. The main floor was perfect for this. Good size kitchen. The bedrooms were good but do lack character. There is a no shoe rule but carpets are clearly lived-in but clean enough. There is no view but the neighborhood is quiet and if you are a hiker and the weather is on your side, there is a nice trail right outside. Mt Washington is close enough but far enough. Keep in mind, there is no quick walk to anything. You will need to drive.

Our trip was excellent. The house was tidy and had everything we needed for our stay. The owner had excellent communication during our stay. The location was great! The 2 issues we had was that trash was piled ip in the garage. When the cleaners came to put the trash out they left the door open. Which was concerning. Also the trash didn't get picked up on Friday, so it was gotten into by animals and spread all around in the road and side of the street. We would stay there again.

I grew up in Pittsburgh not far from this house and yet was pleasantly surprised by this gem of a location.
The house was exceptionally clean and generously stocked with towels, linens, blankets, paper towels, and the kitchen incidentals you may need to settle in.
The quiet dead end block was peaceful and offered several glimpses of deer passing through nearby trails or resting in the hillside behind the home.
Super convenient to easily drive to Pittsburgh activities and a short walk to enjoy the city skyline views. But we were in town and pleased just to relax and gather in the comfortable living room and dining room to quietly celebrate my father's 80th birthday. Host was communicative and checking in and out was seamless. Highly recommend for a quiet weekend gathering of no more than 4-6 friends!

The house was very nice and clean, the garage had several bags of garbage that were there when we arrived which made the garage smell very bad. The garbage disposal didn’t work and leaked into a bucket under the sink. Everything else was just how the ad discribed.

Overall it was a wonderful place and space for our family of 8 to celebrate my daughter's graduation. There was only a couple of things that could have been better. The outdoor space was great , but needed to be cleaned up for guests and could have had a couple of more outdoor chairs . We had to wash chairs and table and sweep the patio and we brought some chairs which was very helpful. Also, there should be more serving dishes for food, like bowls and trays in the kitchen.

We loved the location. Quiet and plenty of parking. Easy check in and Check out. Segun was helpful and accommodating. Would definitely return to this property and refer it to friends.
We all agreed that the beds where so comfy. Thank you Segun!

Reasonable Rates. Comfortable Stay. Farther Away than Advertised.
My family and I stayed here to attend an event at PNC Park. My intention was to get as close to PNC as possible and chose this listing over others given its claim of being "1.3 miles away from PNC." Once I received the address from the renter, the true distance was 3.1 miles. This is not a huge difference, but it is a false claim and had we sold our parking pass for the event as I considered doing and chose to walk, I would have been very upset when the real distance was revealed... especially given there were children in our group. As for the house, the check-in was easy. The house itself was clean and the beds were comfortable. We only stayed one night so we did not use many amenities such as the washer/ dryer and/ or Ruko. It was stated in the "renter guide" that trash day was Friday. We collected our garage in the downstairs can and when I went to deposit it in the outside trash, all three cans were full... one with dirty diapers and there was litter scattered in the driveway. The house itself was nice and it served the purpose we needed it to... a place for my family and I to sleep following our event. However, the false claim of the distance to local attractions and the trash piled up outside prevent me from giving it a "great" rating.

Very nice house, a couple of issues
The house was very nice and clean when we arrived. Our stay overall was great. There were a couple of issues that need to be addressed by the owners - second bathroom's shower doesn't work/change from the faucet to the shower head, the light was out over the laundry area which makes it difficult to see what you are doing, and the light was out in the main shower. With the price per night it seems like these things shouldn't be an issue.

Secluded beautiful house 10 minutes from downtown Pittsburgh
We were pleasantly surprised by the house being at the end of a dead end street where things were very private and quiet. At the dead end was the entrance to a beautiful park with tons of walking trails which my family loved. The property was exactly as listed and our host was extremely gracious and pleasantly communicative and responsive. Would definitely stay again!!!
