Situated in Michigan, this attractive house for R 9,536 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. ABOUT THE RENTAL Tucked into nature at the top of The Highlands of Harbor Springs, a ski and golf resort, and perfect for year-round vacationing in Harbor Springs, yet minutes to Petoskey! This 3,200 square foot privately owned chalet boasts views overlooking the Lois Lane ski run. One of the highest residences at The Highlands, truly ski-in/ski-out, and a perfect place to wake up, strap on your skis, and hit the slopes. Featuring five bedrooms and four bathrooms with additional loft space for sleeping. The main level offers an open floor plan with lots of windows, a vaulted great room, and gas fireplace – all which make it easy to take in the views of skiers going by or the beautiful fall colors. Catering to large groups, you’ll find two primary suites with private baths, one with a king and one with a queen, and two more bedrooms, one with two full beds, the other with 2 bunkbeds (twin over full). The fifth bedroom has a queen and there is loft space for extra sleeping arrangements. *The 6 twin cots are available for use, but linens are not provided. The gourmet kitchen includes everything you’ll need to prepare meals and gather with your friends and family. The large wraparound deck features a six-person hot tub, gas grill, and large patio set. The backyard is perfect for yard games and when it’s time to go in for the night your entertainment doesn’t need to stop. A spacious game room can be found in the lower level, complete with a second full size refrigerator, pool table, air hockey table, and flat screen TV. This spacious, well-appointed chalet accommodates large groups well – allowing ample room to gather as well as private space for downtime. *This property allows two dogs, maximum. A non-refundable $150.00 cleaning fee will be charged per pet. *All wheel or 4-wheel drive is recommended to access this rental property during the winter season. Zip lining, horseback riding, mountain biking/hiking, and golf are just a few of the things you can do while you're here. Hillside Retreat was absolutley perfect for our family ski weekend! We loved being able to ski in and ski out. The house was spotless, the kitchen was well stocked with anything we could have needed for cooking large meals, and the propert was overall very well maintained. There were plenty of sleeping options for all and it was so nice to have multiple private bathrooms for guests. We enjoyed the hot tub each night after a long day of skiing. Great house for our group of 8. Plenty of beds and lounging areas. Basement is an added perk. Outdoor area is great with hot tub, grill, large yard for lawn games and a firepit. Hosts were communicative and easy to work with. Definitely will try and reserve for next year's trip!

We had a group of 12 golfers stay at this lovely house for a week. It was perfect for us. Close to the golf courses. The hot tub was great after a long day of golf. The house was in great condition with all the amenities that you could hope for. We hope to stay again in the future.

This place was great for our growing family! We were in for a family wedding and the place worked out great for all of us. The kids enjoyed the outside tremendously and loved eating outside on porch. Great place for families and definitely would stay here again.!!
Shampoo , soap and such was small but we managed . I would recommend cleaning the living room fan at some point, pretty dusty :/

We had a great stay at this property. You had to climb The Highlands slope in your car to get there, and it truly felt like we were away from it all. It was nice to have the hot tub, basement activities, and a yard to set up our crossnet volleyball net. Lots to do just at the house. We also liked that it was equidistant to Petoskey and Harbor Springs. We spent most of our time in these 2 towns.

The house and yard are great for a long weekend. Would be great for a ski weekend being on the slope. A couple minor things that could use touch up, i.e. towel bar wouldn't stay on in one bathroom, basement fridge could use a cleaning and price was considerably higher this year than past. Issues were minor things nothing that would change the 5 star thoughts of the property. The price will have us checking out other listings. Overall, tough to beat for a 3-4 family gathering.

We had a delightful time at the Hillside Retreat with family. Although we ran out of time to use the fire pit it was a nice addition. There was plenty of seating for meals and the kitchen was well equipped. We enjoyed being able to play corn hole and putt putt down at the Highlands. We signed up for horseback riding, mountain biking, the zipline, and attended a delightful show with the Young Americans. We also went to Boyne Mountain for the indoor waterpark on a rainy day. Petoskey State Park is nearby and has a nice beach and hiking trails. The only negative was the washing machine which needs to be replaced.

We had a wonderful experience in the house. There is a fully stocked kitchen with plenty plates, cups, and cookware! The bedrooms were spacious for all 8 adults, and the kids had their own bunk beds. Beds were comfortable. The house was very clean upon our arrival. We thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor space, from the porch, outdoor dining table, the hot tub, and the firepit. There was plenty of room in the back yard for outdoor games. Plus the kids had tons of fun exploring in the woods. Can't recommend this house enough!

The downstairs kept the teens busy playing pool or air hockey when the weather was a tad bit cold to be outside. The only con was the nasty mosquitoes outside. We did have bug spray that helped.

Amazing ski out!
Our large family really enjoyed this home. Kids liked having their own space downstairs while the adults enjoyed upstairs. Being able to walk out your back door (not up hill either) to ski was such a nice thing. Would’ve booked again for next year but somebody beat me to it!

That is the best word to describe the experience we had staying at this beautiful house this past week.
This is the 2nd year our group of friends have stayed with Jessica and it definitely won't be our last. Not only is the house beautiful, the location amazing, and the ski access unbeatable, but Jessica is the best.
The speed of communication from her is out of this world. She made booking seamless. She answered all questions almost immediately, and communicated any problems instantly as well as the solutions.
The hot tub is awesome after a day out in the snow!
We highly recommend booking with her!
