Do not waste your money here. The Hilton and new Hyatt a few blocks away are also centrally located. The property is antiquated. The room did not have a refrigerator as indicated on the hotels.com site. The first day no one cleaned the room. After being out of the room all morning, someone from housekeeping knocked on the door at 4 pm. The bathroom was ridiculous. The toilet was about 10 inches from the bathtub. It’s documented in the photos online but must be seen firsthand to appreciate how terribly designed. The bathroom faucet was loose and moved when one attempted to turn the lever to hot or cold. The shower faucet was equally dysfunctional. Even worse the hotel is unsafe. Returning to the hotel late at night, we encountered a group of individuals on the sidewalk out front who followed us into the lobby unlawfully and literally pulled the door from my hands. The on duty front desk clerk was completely inept. The security worker threatened us with his baton rather than the intruders. The hotel equivalent of the SLC Thursday night bike ride. What a shame for what used to be a good city.

We enjoyed our stay, the room we stayed in was a little small but it was great for just my husband and I for the night!

Small rooms, great location.

Very helpful and accommodating staff. Erica at the front desk was extremely helpful and went above and beyond.

The hotel was beautiful and historic built in 1910. The only thing we did not like was the parking options, the cost of parking should be in included. The bed was very comfortable!

The shower needs remodeling, the shower head was too high. Pillows and bed were way uncomfortable, my wife got and slept with on couch. Front desk was great.7

The staff were all SUPERB. I appreciated their willingness to help and general kindness. This hotel is quaint. It is small but nicely updated. The rooms a VERY small. It would be comfortable for 1 and 2 people but anything past that would be difficult. The biggest issue I had was the water pressure in the shower. It was extremely weak and the heat of the water was average at best.

Very nice place to stay. Rooms are small but it’s very comfortable and given the age of the facility it makes sense. So I don’t see it as a negative. Only a positive.

We loved our stay! All we have by way of critique is the rooms could sure use a fridge. Other than that, we will totally stay again!

Absolutely an amazing hotel. Everything about it was perfect. The staff, all the down town shopping, dining; and even the night life was fun. Highly recommend this place.

It’s definitely an older property. However, it covers the basic necessities. Would have been nice to have mini fridge and microwave.

Beautiful place to stay and quite close to restaurants and downtown, but very, very noisy. The bar behind the location stays open quite late, and then people continue to shout and play loud radios in the parking lot until at least 2 am! And surprisingly, the windows are only single pane - IDK why they are not double pane!! But the hotel is beautiful, rooms are nice (although small), and very comfortable. Parking across the street will cost $20.

Absolutely love this hotel for it’s quaintness. It is located near city center so it is convenient but still quiet and safe. The staff are lovely and very accommodating.

There is a restaurant downstairs and
We got the smell the entire night. It qas like living in a kitchen. The manager tried to help but no luck as there was no other room.

Expected more. Public open lot parking is unsafe. Check-in not forthcoming with breakfast procedure. Mediocre furnishing for a Tapestry Collection with many of the finishes from different time periods. Felt cobbled together.

We stayed 3 nights and our room was not cleaned once. Even worse, the hotel does not offer their own parking. There is a parking lot next to the hotel which costs $25 per day. The worst part is that the parking lot served as host for late night locals to party and blare loud music from 1AM til 4PM in both FridY and Saturday nights. Horrible experience. I would strongly encourage to choose another hotel in the downtown area.

Nice Hotel. Parking an issue

We had a great stay at the Peery. It was super hot in Salt Lake City during our stay. Our room's air conditioning was working against the sun-filled room, so we pulled the curtains during the day. It never got super-cool despite the setting, but I think that's just going to happen. It was about 75 in the room, which is better than 105 outdoors. The room was a double queen with lots of walking space. The bathroom was a rather small due to just the older age of the hotel and the sink was in the main room. If that doesn't suit you, then make sure to ask for a different type of room. We also asked for a mini fridge to be put into our room and it promptly was. Overall, it was a great stay with good staff interaction. Finally -breakfast at the restaurant next door was terrific.

Nice. Great location

This has become our home away from home while in SLC. We have family in SLC and make the trip from California at least once a year. The Peery is located near many dining and gathering spots, easy on and off the freeway and simply a nice and comfortable place to stay with some added elegance to make the trip a bit more special.

Unique, historical building turned hotel by Hilton. Walkable to pubs and City Creek mall as well as Main Street. Excellent for families. Only knock on the property is lack of complimentary parking for guests/VIP.
