Zawsze ciepła woda w łazience. Chyba to, że nie bardzo chciało się do niego wracać i dużo spędziłam czasu poza nim.

Mały pokój. Może ok. 40 cm odleglości łóżka od ściany. Zamawiając pokój widziałam zasłony, co sugerowało okna. Po przyjeżdzie okazało się, że okna owszem były, ale wychodziły na korytarz, ktorym przechodzili inni do swoich pokoi. Budząc się nie wiedziałam czy jest już dzien czy noc. Musiałam sprawdzać godzinę. Jasno natomiast miałam zawsze, gdy ktoś korzystał z korytarza, bo wtedy zapalało się tam swiatło. Jedna z zasad mówiła, aby okno było otwarte lub uchylone, dzieki czemu było bardzo słychac osoby korzystające z korytarza. Brak okien wychodzacych na dwór powodował mój duży dyskomfort i niemal klaustrofobię. Nie było miejsca na wysuszenie wypranej bielizny, a jądąc tylko z bagażem podręcznym jest to niezbędne.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. The neighborhood is lovely and it's very close to a metro station that brings you right to the city centre.

The bathroom wasn't very clean and it was quite noisy. Even at night we would hear people walking and talking, and during the day construction was very loud.

De prijs was erg aantrekkelijk, namelijk goedkoop. Om die reden een goede prijs-kwaliteit. Ligging aan de metro is zeer aantrekkelijk. Het hotel wordt verbouwd, na de verbouwing zal het een stuk aantrekkelijker zijn. Een zeer vriendelijke eigenaar die op een goede manier communiceert via de app en veel goede adviezen geeft.

Al door gegeven aan de eigenaar. Stel een rookverbod in en zet een prullenmand in de badkamer. Een gezamenlijke badkamer vonden wij niet erg en was geen probleem. Het is een eenvoudig hotel, maar daarom niet minder goed.

The address in the ad is wrong, the building is 75, not 77, owner doesn't tell that apartment is on the ground floor right next to the bar so it is full of people outside and you can't open the window and forced to suffer from hot because there is no air conditioner in the room. Also, there is no kettle, no microwave, during our stay there was no hot water only in our room - owner didn't bother to do anything with it, only suggested to use shared bathroom, although I booked this room specifically because of own bathroom, and didn't offer any kind of discount or any other help, he just didn't care. The lock on the building door is broken and people will be slamming the door in desperate attempts to close it so forget about sleeping. Toilet stands point blank to the wall so if you are not 2d then you will have problems with managing your essential needs. Also detected a small colony of ants under the window inside the room. And if you complain on anything about the room to the owner he will offer you refund and departure as the only solution for all your problems. As a result - recommend NOT to visit this place under any circumstances unless you want to pay 300 euro for room size of a toilet and hot like hell.

Perfect clean room, with access to a bathroom and kitchen outside room , the whole house was mostly quiet throughout the day if you value that, and close to train stations

Friendly Attendance

Affordable, decent place to sleep. Beds and rooms are comfortable with a lot of space for luggage. The cats are lovely, so friendly and cute. If you're allergic to cats and planning on petting them I would recommend bringing your own allergy tablets! The house is right next to the metro so it is easy to get to the city center.

Communication with the owner was challenging and a bit confusing at times, the showers are ok but the downstairs one didn't have hot water when we were staying there, on top of that whenever someone uses the shower water gets everywhere so the whole room becomes a bit of a mess. Bathrooms also did not have any toilet paper so I had to buy my own. Very noisy most nights either from inside the house or outside from neighbors, so would recommend ear plugs.

Roquetes is a nice area and connected via metro, so you can get to more central parts of Barcelona relatively fast (~30-40 min). There are a few small supermarkets and a pharmacy nearby, so basic needs can be covered easily. While the house looks a bit desolate from the outside, the room and bathroom were perfectly serviceable. The Wifi internet connection speed is blazing fast, judging by the result of a speedtest I would guess a 5G connection is being utilized. If you like cats, there is a good chance the 2 furrypaws living in the house drop by for a visit. They are overall quite friendly but can also be a tad moody - well, they're cats after all.

If you want to do any work, that room is not for you. There is no chair but even if there were one, the "desk" in the room is too narrow to even hold an ordinary laptop. But that is something that can be assessed by the photos provided, just wanted to make it clear. A thing that *could* be problematic is that the maintainer on premise barely speaks English. So in case there is an urgent issue you'd need to rely on internet translators or (Whatsapp) communication with the actual owner/administrator, whose reply times can vary a lot.
