Beautiful property and great for the whole family, toddler, dog and all

We like hotels. But, what's up with the resort fee, for water and coffee? What if I don't drink coffee? The room does not even have bottled water when we arrived. SMH.

Hotel located conveniently to Carmel and Pebble Beach.
Clean rooms and big dining area.

It’s a great hotel for families. The pool was a hit. It was heated and the games area provided plenty of entertainment for our 2.5year old son. The first room we got checked in was smoked in. So we got another room. The patio let out to the parking lot which was not ideal with our child. Overall it’s quite noisy with the highway next to the hotel. The carpets are old and in some ways it feel like an old hotel. The tennis courts were unfortunately not accessibly due to a pickle ball tournament.

Very lovely property and grounds. Clean. Would not stay again though. There are not enough parking spaces for guests and each night had to park in an overflow lot that was across the property from my room. The shower is half glass and half open. I was cold in the shower and the floor would get puddles of water. Did room service once for soup that tasted like water and the container was half full.

The room was comfortable but not the bed. For the amount per night that I paid, sleeping on a hard bed and hard pillows was not worth it. I slept for 2 days without pillows. After a long drive , I expected a good night sleep which didn’t happen. Will never stay here again.

Great place to stay with Family. Lots of family of activities at the hotel and everything is within a 5-10 min drive.

Great place to stay away from the tourist areas!

Absolutely amazing experience from check-in and throughout our stay. The rooms were cozy and beds very comfortable. You ca. hear loud talkers in the hall, but not enough to really disturb. The bar and restaurant on site go out of the way to make every experience wonderful! This location serves as a great launching point for Monterey and Carmel-by-the-Sea

The hotel is old, the elevator is a joke and in a different building. I felt unsafe given the design and layout of the complex and how every group of rooms was in their own standalone building with outside access. There was no parking. When I arrived at midnight, I had to wedge my car into the last remaining parking spot next to a giant oversized jeep that was hogging half of the empty spot which I’m sure is the only reason that spot was still available. The pool is really more of a kiddie pool – shallow and ill-designed for swimming laps. There were hairs on the bathmat. That was gross. Just made me wonder how clean the towels and wash clothes were. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. I did sleep well. However I was cold. I do not understand why hotels have stopped putting proper comforters on the beds. These days you’re just sleeping under a glorified sheet. So I did get cold. Fortunately, I found an extra blanket in the closet and folded it over for double thickness. I was grateful I paid a few dollars extra to get the pool view, because the rooms on the other side were facing the highway. I didn’t realize how close we were to the freeway until I entered the *open corridor* where you could easily hear the roaring of the highway traffic.

Our stay at the hotel was, regrettably, only moderately satisfactory. To access our room located in building E, we navigated through several other buildings, which was somewhat inconvenient.
The condition of the rooms was acceptable, though the sound insulation was lacking as we could distinctly hear the guests in the room above us. Additionally, the air conditioning and heating systems were operational but did not perform to our expectations, providing minimal comfort.
We encountered a distressing issue with the smoke detector, which activated abruptly and without cause, emitting a loud alarm. We found it necessary to disconnect it to restore peace. Moreover, our stay coincided with a severe storm that led to a city-wide power outage. While we acknowledge this was beyond the hotel's control, it further detracted from our overall experience, and I believe the helps from the hotel's were quite average: only the lobby area had power, and only water and few cookies were offered.
Overall average. We left the hotel a day earlier, my wife just couldn't do this.

The stay was great, weather was what to expect so can’t complain too much about that. Some rain was rest of the stay was amazing. The golf course was beautiful, staff and hotel itself was great!

The hotel has a good location but it needs a lot of upgrades, specially the rooms. The carpets are old, the building lacks proper elevators. There is only one elevator for three buildings. For the prices they are charging, they should have a much higher standards. The problem is also the resort fees.

Very nice hotel. Rooms seem to be recently renovated and very modern. Fun place to stay with the family, with multiple pools, hot tubs, and fire pits around the grounds. And other fun games for the kids. We stayed the week of the Bing Crosby Pro Am at Pebble Beach and some of the pros were staying here as well as the NBC Sports crew so that was cool to see. It’s a short drive to the aquarium and all the main Monterrey stuff.

The access to the room was nice and easy. It was also very quiet although the hotel was quite busy. The staff at the reception area were very helpful and friendly as were the staff at the coffee shop.

The hotel was nice! Our room was very comfy and clean. The property ia huge and has a great variety of things to do! It is a great couples and family hotel. Our issue which is the reason for the three stars overall is how noisy it is!! Apparently there was an event being held at night in the conferece room area which was across the way from us. Which explained the loud music we were hearing until 10:30pm. Our neigbors above us were also being loud at 1,2 in the morning. Then one neighbor next to us at 6 in the morning had their tv on fully blast. Also, the constant people walking by being loud, arguing, etc in the hallway was annoying. Needless to say we didnt get much sleep staying here from all of this. We have an 11 month old and trying to keep things quiet for her so she could sleep was challenging.
In the end the front desk made it right which we appreciated. We would like to stay here again as everything else besides the noise was amazing, but now know what we know we would ask for a top floor and somewhere a bit quieter.

Have stayed here many times. It’s comfortable and clean. Minor annoyance is limited elevators - 2 or 3 buildings share one in some buildings so there may be some schlepping to get bags to your room. But the property is pretty, the restaurant is fine, the upper pool is the best one imo.

In my opinion the rooms and exterior of buildings need an update,

Service could be improved (room not ready for over an hour after check in but was compensated for it), but property was conveniently located and fine overall. Great location next to golf course and restaurant and cafe were good quality. Room service breakfast not so much.

We were put in a room located at the bottom of a two story building similar to a motel. The room was damp with light musty odor. Although I booked thru Hotels.com, not directly from Hyatt, but I told the front desk that I am a Hyatt Globlist member, but no consideration for a slight room upgrade.

Visited during the Christmas holidays, the air-conditioning is very noisy and we were not able to sleep at night because of the noise from the unit. Another issue was that the hotel's restaurant was short-staffed, it was the only option for us to have dinner on Christmas Day, it took 70 minutes for a pizza that I had ordered to be ready and it was burnt. However, the buffet breakfast service the day after was good and the staff were attentive. We had reservation for two nights and we decided to check out early and did not stay for the 2nd night.
