Hotels needs updating big time
Is clean, but looks like a motel for the price
per night seems high.

Location was great..staff was friendly and amazing. Kudos to Eli. Enjoyed free movie and the hot tub..biked twice. However one thing we didn't know was that there are more bikes available. When the weren't any visible, we thought they were all being rented.

The reviews and pictures are deceiving. The room we stayed in was outdated and had a musty smell. We also had a few ants. While the location is close to the beach and the funk zone, it’s not in view of the harbor. It’s across from a 7-11

Brisas del Mar was a wonderful stay! Starting with Jesus at the front counter checking us in, he was very friendly and helpful with what to do while we were in Santa Barbara (sadly, none of the other front desk workers were nearly as nice or helpful - may want to work on that) . We were celebrating my husband's 50th birthday, and there was a card, chocolates and a bottle of champagne waiting for us in our room. Comfy bed, lovely view of the mountains, and we could see the ocean from the front door. There is a free breakfast every morning and happy hour each afternoon (which we didn't partake in because we don't drink). We took advantage of the free bicycles one day to ride along the beach and explore a little bit of downtown Santa Barbara. Loved our stay here and will definitely be back!

Brisas Del Mar was fantastic for our 1-night stay during our CA Missions roadtrip. My son loved the pool, we charged our EV overnight for free and Mickey upgraded us to the suite which gave us tons of room to spread out. Loved the walk through the gorgeous SB homes to Finney’s for dinner near the water front.

Great location. Walkable or quick ride to most sites in SB. Room decor could use an update if that’s important to you.

A quick weekend staycation to celebrate my wife’s birthday. Upon arrival was pleasantly surprised by the welcome and greeting from Jesus. Very nice young man. Upon arrival he informed me that I was being upgraded to a “Junior Suite” and that the rental bikes would be FREE for us to use while we were there. All for being a VIP customer with Hotels.com~!! The property is charming with old world Spanish style on the exterior. They have very nice evening wine offering along with some charcuterie and other nibblers as well as a really good continental breakfast every morning. They had a jacuzzi which I had planned to use and ran out of time. Only issue we had is we were on the bottom floor and it sounded like a heard of elephants in the room above us both mornings. Guess there is not much you can do about that? Would definitely stay there again as it was a great location and walking distance to the Funk Zone as well as Sterns Wharf and the fishing docks and restaurants. Outstanding.

Staff was friendly and services were a nice touch. The building itself is old but well maintained. Would definitely stay again!

We really enjoyed our stay. The room was very comfortable. The breakfasts were very good and well balanced plus the wine and happy hour snacks were a very pleasant bonus.

Well kept property. Rooms need a refresh/update. Funky smell needed to open all the windows. Customer service awesome, Arryn was super friendly and accommodating. Complimentary bikes were a huge bonus! Hot tub needs more water, waterline wasn't even past the jets so water was sputtering everywhere.

The suites were roomy and had everything you need for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed the sun deck, hot tub, pool, happy hour, continental breakfast, 24/7 fresh brewed coffee, and cute outdoor seating throughout the property. We’ll definitely be back… location was perfect, just blocks from the beach, the Funk Zone, and State St. with plenty of food and wine tasting options.

We loved the complimentary champagne and the wine & cheese hour. The breakfast was nice too. The room was comfortable. We liked having access to the bicycles and everything was so so close. Our favorite breakfast locations are just a few walkable blocks away.

The toilet doesn’t flush well and we had to open the back to adjust the pump every time after use. It was quite annoying.

Great little hotel. Short walk (less than 1/2 mile) to the waterfront/restaurant area. Free Bike rental was nice. Decent breakfast and happy hour included. Friendly and helpful staff. Quiet at night. I would stay again.

Absolutely loved my stay at this inn! The perfect location to the beach and downtown. Everything was so clean and more modern than I expected. Really enjoyed the free breakfast! And I felt it was a reasonable price. I will definitely be back.

We were delighted by Brisas del Mar, which is perfectly situated near a park, near the beach, and just a 15 minute walk from downtown. The hotel has just one EV charger, but charging is free and the front desk is proactive about making sure people don't leave fully-charged cars parked in the spot, which allows all guests to take advantage of the charger. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and tasty, and there is nightly wine and cheese for guests to enjoy. We'll be back!

We stayed here with our baby, and found it to be a very comfortable spot! The room was spacious with all the comforts of home. We also loved the breakfast and happy hour, which meant there were pretty much always treats in the lobby. Everyone working there was very nice and helpful!

Great stay ! Easy check in, personable staff. Esteban and Justin were great, very helpful on our arrival. Upgraded our room to a suite and gave us champagne upon arrival. Coffee & tea in lobby. Happy hour and tasty breakfast.
Property is very clean and maintained. It’s an older inn, but well cared for. We were able to walk to harbour and downtown. Free use of bikes and dvd’s available. Convenient store very close as well as a small grocery.
Definately recommend if planning a stay in Santa Barbara.

It is a lovely property and the people were wonderful. The room smelled somewhat old and musty though, which is my only negative feedback.

My family and i stayed for 1 night on our way to anaheim but i wish we could have stayed for a week! Such a beautiful picturesque hotel with outstanding service from the ceont deal gentlemem i wish i remembered his name. The room was clean and felt incredibly cozy. I recommend booking the suite, it was like a small apartment that met pur family of 4 needs. Id recommend this place. The office area has a cozy fireplace and open area to sit and enjoy snacks or breakfast.

We were given a perk up to a mini suite which was nice of them however my wife has a cane and a bad leg so going up the stairs was not so good! No elevator!

Beautiful property with lovely staff. They exceeded everyone’s expectations. Thank you

The exterior of the property seemed fine. The staff was very friendly upon arrival and that was the extent of our dealings so that part was great. We had unit 31 which in theory was exciting because it was considered an upgrade because it had a dining area, a full kitchen and 2 bathrooms. That was wonderful, however, as soon as we walk into the room it smelled really old and dingy. A cross between bleach and mildew. The facility is obviously very old and the rooms just need to be remodeled. The pictures did not lie, its just that when you actually get in the room you can just see better that everything has an old outdated feel and smell to it, The bathrooms did not seem very clean and the showers were very small. I definitely would not choose to stay here again. It's not a bad location or facility it's just not up to par for OUR level of accommodations
