Situated in leafy old Dunsborough, this centrally situated holiday house is just a short stroll to the beach and about a kilometers walk to the villiage centre. Typical 'Dunsborough' style architecture, this charming home sleeps 6 people comfortably. It has a fully self contained kitchen, TV & DVD, BBQ and outdoor setting, Reverse Cycle airconditioning and a cozy woodfire for those cold winter nights. Overnight parking on the premises for 2 or 3 vehicles. Simply bring your sheets, pillow cases and towels & enjoy. We supply the rest. Stayed for a week with our golden retriever.
The house was what you would expect for a holiday and was close to town and the beach, and of course the other tourist attractions.
It is well maintained with all necessities. Instructions on how to operate the TV with 3 controls would be helpful. (oldies are not that smart)
The only other comments I could make would be to fit a screen door to front door and replace the side screen door.
This would keep flies out and allow air flow on warm days.

We were pleasantly surprised when we entered the Stayz property, Amble In, on Naturalist Terrace. Although the house was on a relatively busy road the bushes out the front created a secluded neat front garden to enable privacy and a peaceful environment. The house was very clean, comfortable, and included a wood fire with a massive stack of wood to use for chilly nights. Access to beach was only minutes away. Would definitely stay at this property again. The hosts were easy to contact and very helpful.

The house was clean. Plenty of utensils and crockery. Plenty of hanging at space. Beds were comfortable. Great having a wood fire.
The negatives :was the fact the rubbish bins from previous persons were full and hadn’t been put out. There was no dishwasher which was a disappointment. No WI-FI. We could only find one flat oven tray. The cleaners had not cleaned or checked the dryer filter was cleaned, it was in a bad way.
A suggestion : a decent broom to sweep the inside tiles, and maybe a front fly screen door and a back one off laundry.

Great location, 2 min cycle to the mountain bike tracks at the Country Club, 10 min walk to the boat ramp and short drive to town. Love that our dogs can come too.

Great house for our family of 5. Very clean and had everything we needed for a long weekend. Only recommendations would be wifi as reception not very good, Netflix for tv and some extension cords for bedroom fans . Otherwise a great house - would stay again 😊

We came down for a close friends birthday celebration and needed a spot suitable for our dog. How perfect is this home!!! We will definitely come back and stay longer. The photos don’t do it justice- much much better when you see it for yourself. Thank you!

Highly recommend Amble In for a cosy place to stay with family and dog. Modest home but clean and well maintained. Plenty of space for a family with pet in tow. Nice enclosed yard for the dog.

The property is a perfect little getaway. Central for all the songfest locations was a bonus. Our furbabies loved the garden and it was secure as mentioned in the booking process.

My boys were looking to try the local mountain bike tracks at the nearby country club. This property enabled them to make the short ride there and back every day. We all enjoyed the property which was very comfortable & we were able to simply make the short walk to the beach & shops, no car required so a very pleasant and relaxing stay.

gardens could do with a bit of a tidy up, dryer was excesivly full of lint, fire hazard. We emptied, but cleaners had not emptied before our visit
