Le lieu entre les montagnes et Scottsdale
Je dirai simplement que le débit d‘eau de la douche est plutôt faible.

The landscaped courtyard with was nice and I appreciated the convenience of the little sundry shop. Staff was friendly.
I understand that they are undergoing a much needed renovation, so I will give the shabby rooms a pass. However, things just felt dirty. In the three days we were there, the stairwell was never vacuumed—and debris they was there when we arrived just continued to pile up. I don’t love their policy of cleaning the room every 7 days (with a refresh every 3). It wasn’t that easy to chase someone down for clean towels or new coffee pods.
My biggest complaint was the breakfast. When I stayed there last, the kitchen wasn’t open. But conveniently, they had large canteens of coffee and cream out in the lobby from early morning on—great if you are traveling or moving out to a hike. Now they have discontinued that. The only free coffee is in a small low-end machine in the room (always sketchy). The kitchen doesn’t open until 7, and serves very expensive coffee and surprisingly complicated breakfasts. When we were there, the same person was in charge of cooking in the back AND serving out front. This is a ridiculous challenge for any staffer and frustrating for someone in line for a cup of coffee, just after someone else puts in an order for three omelettes.
My recommendation is to bring back the free large coffee canteens, forget about the fancy espresso machine, and consider being a free basic continental breakfast place, like your peer-hotels. No one expects avocado toast from this Sonesta Select—we would have been happy with a to go cup and a toasted bagel in half the time.

The staff members were very kind and helpful. The breakfast was good, and I’m glad they have snacks for purchase because there aren’t many restaurants near by.
A notice of renovations to the fitness room prior to my arrival would have been appreciated.

The convenience of how close it was to the Mayo Clinic
Many opportunities in cleanliness. Rug had many stains, shower and restroom both needed attention. Restroom corners and vents were dirty, shower corners also had lots of build up of dirt. Shower tub was stained. The pool had a slimey feel to it from the chemicals when I got in so I got right out.

Very close to the Mayo Clinic with a free shuttle from the hotel to the Mayo.

The carpets in the unit were badly stained, could have used some updating.

it was close to where we needed to be
when we got there, we went to our room and it was dirty. bed not made, receipts on the floor, we went to the front desk got another room, but got stuck with a queen bed when we wanted a king. there was a hair on the shower wall, so not even sure how well they clean daily.

It was a clean, quite, friendly atmosphere.
Everything was nice but they didn't serve breakfast on the weekends so we would have to go out for every meal.

The location was perfect for walking in the desert
due to construction, views were blocked by large dumpsters

It had a fridge AND a microwave. The staff was very nice. I have a feeling this will be my go-to hotel when I visit AZ.
Paying for parking and the channel selection on the tv. Stated the Disney channel was available... it wasn't.

Nice room, quiet. Great location if you need to go to Mayo on Shea. In the same lot basically. It's even very convenient if you need to go to Mayo Hospital on Mayo Drive. Only 25 minutes away.
When you stay here plan to walk a lot. Parking and entrance doors could be a long way from your room. They are not serving breakfast. You can't pay to get breakfast.Night staff didn't know if they serve breakfast.
They have a major safety Hazzard, all the plugs located in the lamps are in very poor condition. Very loose fit for your electrical cord and that's a major fire Hazzard. Blackout curtain has a bunch of holes in it so if your room is facing the east at sunrise you have your own star display. TV is too small and too low to view while either laying on the far side of the bed or sitting on the couch
For any extended stay you're better off bringing an ice chest. Refrigerator is very very small.

the the last night of our stay, a couple next to us, checked in with a dog that was barking from 8pm-12:30am. The front desk did nothing about it.

Close to mayo clinic.
Reserved nonrefundable King room with sofa bed on booking.com and told them in advance to expect late 1 AM arrival. My wife telephoned them 4 times when our flight was delayed couple hours to let them know we were still coming. Our room was sold to someone else and a dirty Queen room was substituted that had just been vacated where we changed the sheets ourselves. Then we were charged double for the room > $100 more than booking.com price + nonrefundable room which they claim we no showed for. No advance notice of no show policy was given. Highway robbery and no apology was given by their manager.
