The hotel was very quiet
The room was basic with no view - We upgraded to a room with lake view.
The lake has a power plant
The rooms smell like bleach and it looks like to sleep in a pool of chlorine
The restaurant was closed

The resort is in a beautiful location and close to RMNP and downtown. Elk come to visit around the lake and the restaurant is amazing.
We asked for our room to get a full clean and it didn’t happen. Stormy was so helpful to go and clean it after we returned from a long day at the National Park. You have a great desk attendant who also helped us with our room billing issue.

everything was great / no dislikes

great location on the lake. bed super cozy and staff terrific! on-site restaurant very good with nice views.
no hot tub or pool. limited common amenities . given the rates this seems like a major oversight.

Scenery was amazing, it was great having a private balcony.
Room was smaller than I expected, not enough space to put my things. A little weird having the bathroom sink next to the bed in the main room. Not as clean as I would have liked.

Staff was friendly, and the bed was comfortable.
Checkout was a breeze, and I was told the hotel is going to update the rooms and the tv service.
Great location near RMNP.
The tv programming was terrible, mostly reruns of old and very old tv series. You can't smart cast your own streaming services or plugin your fire stick or roku. Not much to do on a cold, snowy night.
Also, the second floor is actually ground level and mountain view means you are facing the parking lot. Pay for the lake view if you stay there.

Beautiful view of the frozen lake, lots of wildlife right outside.

the view was beautiful
it would be awesome if they had hot tub or pool or rooms with a jacuzzi tub

The food at the Dunraven was amazing!! The view of the lake from our room was very pretty!
They closed their indoor pool to open a spa, but didn’t disclose this information on their website, so my girls were very disappointed because that was the main reason we were staying at a hotel.

Got married here in 2002 . Still a great place. Views great. Erika in resuarant great.

The location was good, right on the lakeside. The room was a little quirky with lots of doors leading off the bedroom. There was a resturant on site which was adequate.
It said it had two balconies, but it was a ground floor room and the balconies were below the level of the public pathway next to the lake which means you couldn't really see that well or feel very comfortable about sitting out there. In fact the only way that you had a view was due to the fact that there were some high stalls provided for you to sit on.

Location was good in proximity to the National park entrances and main downtown area.
The restaurant made the ENTIREEEE lobby and first floor hallways smell like everything was burnt. And it even seeped into the rooms. The rooms are so outdated for the resort charging an insane amount per night.

The views were great! very comfortable and relaxing. wish we could’ve stayed longer

Karen is great! Restaurant was delicious
Maybe a little pricey for a room but I understand it’s peak summer and very close to the park

location
nonfunctioning elevator, gym and pool, poor bathroom design and small window

It's location is amazing and the beds are incredibly soft and comfortable
They lie to their guests about amenities and the front staff is lacking in any hospitality

The fire pits were very nice and the room balcony was pleasant.
Not much wow factor

location, location, location to Lake Estes
too expensive

The location was amazing -- walking distance of the marina and our room overlooked the lake. It was spacious.
We were given a room with disabled access, so there was no shower door or curtain. I don't think the room had been vacuumed on our arrival. The pull out bed was uncomfortable.
