Loved the food truck with French food (crepes!), jacuzzi and heated pool nice, sauna great, steam room would have been great but couldn’t figure out how to operate. Location is perfect in Mammoth-walkable to everything. Lobby is cozy—love the fire, coffee & tea, and games, outdoor fires really add great warmth and ambiance. Nice to have fridge/microwave/hairdryer/coffee/robes in rooms.
WiFi spotty and didn’t work in room very often and when it did it was too weak to watch movies or work (258). Had to do online conference in lobby and still wasn’t connecting on all devices. Would highly recommend relays/boosters. Originally we had booked this hotel so we could work when not snowboarding and the poor WiFi could have cost us our jobs if we missed key meetings. Also, check in was a disaster. We waited over an hour, which is hard after a long day of driving and snowboarding. There was only one front office person, and she was a rockstar despite loads of issues with rooms and reservations. People had reserved rooms that didn’t show in your system, their preferences hadn’t logged, others were required to change rooms mid-stay and were pitching fits—one couple finally gave up their room to a couple with no room options to help move things along. The woman at the desk was dealing with rude, caustic and occasionally demeaning guests, and she was respectful, professional and calm, but clearly lacked the resources to solve the problems being thrown at her. I arrived at 4 and we made it to our room at 5:30. When I went down to solve the WiFi issue at 7, there was still a line and no end in sight, so I gave up. The morning person who was also lovely credited our resort fee for the WiFi issue, but couldn’t fix it.

The location is the best part about this place as it is walkable to shopping centers, cafes, coffee shops, and ski stores. Parking is easy. One can tell the lodge has been newly renovated and decor is great. The main lobby has a very nice sitting area and a large hearth that people gather around to socialize, play games, or do work on their laptops.
I loved the ambiance and decor of the place and two of the morning staff at the reception were very friendly and helpful. However...
1) Very poor wifi in the rooms and common areas.
2) Hot tub was not hot.
3) Hot sauna was not hot.
4) The night receptionist was very unfriendly, contrarian, and unhelpful. I avoided asking her anything after 2 nights and just waited until the morning to get help.
5) My daughter could not reach the high sinks in the bathroom; when I asked for a stepstool, the night receptionist informed me she had none and that she "simply could not help" me out. She suggested that I buy one from the grocery store across the street! I doubt that I am the only family staying at this place that has a child who can not reach the sink.
6) The humidifier in our room broke; I asked the unfriendly night receptionist for a swap out and she told me that I was lucky to even have a humidifer in my room and that she had no replacements.
7) One must request housekeeping before 10am; I requested it on day 3 through 5 of my stay. My room was not cleaned once during my stay despite repeated requests before 10 am.
8) Walls are exceptionally thin; I could hear conversations clearly from the adjacent rooms.
9) The treadmill and water dispenser in the gym were not working.

The bed was great and remodeled room was good.
Charged a resort fee but none of the spa amenities were functional. Sauna was not hot, steam room did not work, hot tub was not hot.

Great location. We have stayed here many times.
The coffee in the room is more like a tea bag. We couldn’t drink it.

Was very clean and looked newly renovated. Great amenities.
It would have been nice to know the film festival was being hosted there. When I arrived, they were using the lobby space and was told I’d have to pay $100 for an early check in, which seems unreasonable given the blizzard conditions. Lastly, the WiFi never worked in my room the entire stay. The front desk staff seemed to know it was an issue and told me it worked best in the lobby, which I had limited access to given the festival events.

We were surprised about the size and quality of our apartment. It has two bedrooms and a small kitchen. Very new and nicely designed. I highly recommend the breakfast place - Crapes and coffee. Just amazing.
The wooden floor wasn't clean at all.

We really liked the room!
We didn’t have enough hot water because there is one heater for four rooms :(

At Outbound Mammoth, they've got après-ski pampering down—heated pools, bubbling hot tubs, and even steam rooms and saunas to soothe those weary muscles. Party is always on at the restaurant bar, complete with live music.
Our hallway smelled like a mix of wet laundry and a stale frat house. Must've been the proximity to the lobby where people were coming in with wet gear.

So lucky we found here!! We stayed at the brand brand new cabins. It has everything and thoughtfully decorated. The shuttle service is just across the street. The bar is amazing. This will be my go to place in Mammoth.
We liked everything.

The hotel room and facilities were very clean and modern, a great place to relax and rest after active days outdoors. The location was great with lots of good food options nearby.
The mattress was comfortable but the pillows were very flat.

En general las instalaciones son excelentes, limpias y cómodas. El lobby es muy acogedor. La disponibilidad de café a toda hora es un buen detalle.
Me hubiera gustado que el horario de check in fuera más temprano y que incluya un desayuno

There was ongoing construction, but it really wasn't bad.

Spacious grounds,
Very clean, well-updated rooms.
Outstanding bed comfort. This is most important.
Rooms small, poor views.
Expensive and surprising 50 dollar pet fee. The highest we have ever paid.

Decoration and very clean.
I did not see any notice in booking that mentioned they are under construction. They should let people know that there whole resort is under construction so people can decide if they want to stay there or not. Our room was fine, but If I knew the hotel was being renovated I would not have stayed here.

The lady in the front desk yelled at us like psycho without any reason, she lied to us that the lobby is closed at night and she talked so rudely. Last time I’m coming back there, she can’t work with people and she have to be fired.

The request for the two rooms reserved to be together was ignored.
The room adjacent to ours was not locked and there was no privacy from the other people staying there, the maintenance staff came to drill a piece of wood to avoid the door from opening, this was very late at night.
The hotel manager came to talk to us and said that he was going to give us one night free, didn't happen.

I tell you what I didn’t like you charging me for plastic containers I assume that people with hair would use I am clean shaved. I do not use any hair products because I have an electric shaver. Shame on you. Worst experience of my life.
Do you have the nerve to charge me for shampoo and other hair items? I am clean shave & have no need. I did not use your product for hair or any of that, so why am I being charged an extra charge which I will be questioning soon. Now if you want to do the right thing, put my money that you charge me for products that I didn’t use back in my account then maybe won’t be able to use your facility next year when I come for the mammoth blues festival. I have never said this before but that’s the worst any facility could do it’s the charge for items that should be included in the bill. You guys are very desperate, and I will be telling everybody who goes to the Mamouth blues festival to not use your facility no matter what shame on you. Shame on you shame on you.

Location.
TV was mounted on the wall crooked. Difficult or impossible to watch TV in the evening, connection was bad. Plugs next to bed impossible or difficult to get to for charging phone. Uneven pavement in parking lot caused my girlfriend to almost fall several times. AC incredibly loud. Unable to use free drink tickets, bartender never on duty. Too many other things to list. Horrible property.

It was great, still under construction. But we get it, excited to return to enjoy the enhancements.

The room was nice and spacious, clean, great coffee in the room. Huge and great TV. Comfortable bed. Awesome place, and good value for money.
Internet was not working reliably, and due to construction on site, it got a little loud in the morning. But the construction will be soon over, so I would still recommend it.

The hotel was undergoing construction, and shouldn't even have been open. The power was off for construction, and they couldn't clean our room to make it available. They kept telling us to come back in half an hour. Eventually we found another hotel, which wasn't easy.

The room was great and clean. A lot of construction going on. Staff was friendly and helpful
Spotty Wi-Fi , no TV reception , no dog relief area with garbage receptical
