About this house rental
Newly remodeled 4 bedroom home in quiet cul-de-sac that can sleep up to 10 people. Take a beautiful hike only .8 miles away at Palmer Park, quick 2.5 miles to UCCS, and visit Garden of the Gods, Air Force Academy, Old Colorado City, and Manitou Springs, Downtown all within a 15-20 minute drive. The updated modern kitchen and grill on our beautiful new deck will allow you to have an enjoyable dining experience. The home combines the feel of colorful Colorado and features my own original artwork throughout the home. Each of our bedrooms our designed carefully in order to enhance comfort so that each of our guests can enjoy a peaceful and restful night of sleep. Two of our queen beds have brand new Serta innercoil pillow top mattresses while the third queen bed features a new supportive firm memory foam mattress. The twin bed mattresses and pullout mattress are also brand new. Enjoy our spacious fenced backyard.

We had a wonderful stay at this clean, comfortable house! The space was terrific for our extended family of 6. We enjoyed playing games at the kitchen table and hanging out in both living spaces. The WiFi was easy to use and the host was very helpful.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The home was spacious, clean and the owner was attentive and available for any questions we may have had. This property was conveniently located for our weekend and we would not only recommend but will choose this property for any return trip.

The reservation process and check in was a breeze. The house is located in a nice neighborhood. Inside the house is clean and as described. Clean rooms and well stocked kitchen. Beds are ok, but that’s just a preference. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Colorado Springs.

Centrally located to everything (we were no more than 20 minutes from every place we needed to visit). Having a split level made it convenient to give every member of our family space. Phil was an amazing attentive host. Spacious, well stocked kitchen made preparing needed meals easy. Have a busy schedule planned for Colorado Springs and you need to get convenient homebase? Consider this property!

Excellent staging location
We visited many colorado springs attractions and this location was within 15 minutes or less to most of them. Fully stocked for cooking breakfast, lunch, or supper at the house. I would stay again if I were to come back to the area.

Clean house with everything you need.
We really enjoyed this house. All we had to bring was food and clothes. Even had a deck in the back yard to relax and have a few drinks. Its also a very quite neighborhood. If we come back to Colorado springs, we would reserve this house again.

The property was perfect for our stay. The home has plenty of space and is very clean. Communication was excellent and response time to any of our questions was immediate. Would definitely stay here again.

This house was in a quiet neighborhood and was close to main roads. We never had to drive too long for restaurants, groceries, or fun activities. The house was a nice size and setup for our family.

The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, the washer/dryer made it easy to do laundry, and the deck was a beautiful place to have lunch. We were delighted to see deer in the front yard twice during our stay. The neighborhood, while a bit rundown looking, did not feel unsafe. There is a park just down the street that provided a good, quick energy release for the kids. Only issue was a lack of additional toilet paper beyond what was on the roll but, as there was plenty of additional papertowels and trash bags, I believe this was simply an oversight on the part of the cleaning crew. We bought out own, no harm done.We would definitely stay at Phil's again.

Work Remotely Option
We chose this location for a 2 week work remotely option. We needed a high speed internet connection for work and it worked great. The owner has a book with all the needed information readily available, making Connecting to the WiFi super quick and easy. The dryer quit a few days into our stay and the homeowner was super responsive and got it fixed right away and was very responsive to all questions before the stay as well. Just a quick 5 minutes to Safeway, Target and Epic Mountain Gear.

Perfect for families
Our stay was perfect! We had more than enough space to sleep 9. The backyard is spacious for the kids to play catch. The pool table kept the kids and adults entertained during the evening storms. We were within 30 minutes of most of our excursions. Phil was excellent at keeping in touch and answering all questions. We absolutely enjoyed our stay and would recommend this home especially to families with young children!

Lovely conveniently located home
We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 day stay in this very comfortable home! Kitchen was equipped for family meals, and plenty of room to hang out. Lots of great grocery stores nearby - Whole Foods, Sprouts, Safeway and Trader Joe’s all within 15 minute drive.

Great place to stay for a family
This was a perfect place for our stay in Colorado Springs. I have stayed in several HomeAways and this was the best stocked house ever! We enjoyed our stay and having the space to spread out, but also join together to play board games and pool. I will definitely stay here again, when we travel to Colorado Springs.

This was the perfect property for our stay in Colorado Springs! Great location, clean and comfy.
This home is clean and beautiful, comfortable and close to everything fun to do around Colorado Springs. Neighborhood is very quiet, owner provided kitchen essentials and basics (like coffee!) and the cute back deck is perfect for enjoying the morning mountain air. Beds are very comfortable, and everyone felt like they had their own space. Living areas are well decorated and feel like home. We truly enjoyed our experience at this property, and will likely stay here again.

Great house , quiet neighborhood
My family stayed multiple nights at this house, it was our first vrbo rental. The house was in a good location. Very clean and comfortable. The house has a living room and a family room which made it great for spreading out. We have plenty of towels, bedding etc. Kitchen was well stocked. Great experience! I would definitely stay there again!

The property was amazing!!!!!
The property had all I needed to have an excellent vacation, it was a home away from. The owner Phil Drotar made sure we had everything and had excellent communication. In fact I left important paperwork after we checked out and he offered to meet me at a different location so I could the paperwork back. I would recommend this property and if I go back I will definitely rent the property again. The art work that was done by Phil is amazing and made the property perfect!!!!
