Looked stunning and was very clean and comfortable.

Nothing, everything was good.

The room was located at the in the old town of the city, very near to the city center and the "heart" of Split. The room was spacious and very clean and the check-in procedure was very simple. Very good free wifi access. Communication with the hosts was really professional and without any delays. A solution could also be found for getting my breakfast, out of the ordinary breakfast times. The breakfast location was not in-house but in a nearby cafe/bistro, with exceptional quality. I would definitely suggest this location and would very much like to visit it again in the future.

If I could mention something that I did not like, that would be perhaps the price of the venue, which could be a bit less expensive. But the overall impression was very good!

Beautiful room in a great location. Walking distance to everything. Good communication from hotel regarding check in and the likes. Very clean in the room.

The rooms are located in an apartment building which is common for the area. However, it is not secure. The door to the building is left unlocked and anyone can enter - this is a particular issue at night when it’s quite dark on the staircases. This was made very clear to us when we returned one night to find a person had defecated just inside the entrance (it was very clear it was human). It was cleaned the next day. While this issue isn’t specific to Bernadi Rooms, this obviously led us to question the cleanliness and security of the building overall. Installing PIN code access to the building would alleviate this issue. Access to rooms themselves is very secure however.

The room was an ideal location close to the main city gate. It was clean an newly renovated.

There was a self check in process a few days before arrival, where you had to upload a photo of your passport and then a selfie for each person. After doing this we were promised a link to our self check in, this was never sent. On the afternoon of check in, still nothing, I sent an email and a message, no reply. we were sitting outside the property, so I phoned and was told that the room was ready, that the link and code for the key box would be messaged on booking.com in 15 minutes. it was but what a palaver! And then on top of that despite the pleasant room, the noise levels were awful as it is above a bar, it went on until 4 or 5 am. Luckily I had ear plugs but my husband didn’t. Bring some!!

we had the worst stay. the people in the unit above for 2 consecutive nights were walking up and down non stop and given the old floorboards the noise was unbearable. if felt like the ceiling was going to come down. we didn’t sleep for the 2 nights we were there. the bed is uncomfortable. not enough hot water for a decent shower. you need to wait for the heater to warm the water up. can’t access by car given the old town is pedestrian area only. the unit is on the 2nd floor and there are a lot of stairs (no lift) to get there. they charge you a AUD 150 deposit fee for potential damages. you can only get the access code to the unit once you pay the fee with credit card

Location was great. Room was a good size and decorated beautifully.

Communal area of the building was very run down dark and dirty. On arrival at night when entering the building there was excrement on floor. The bed was very uncomfortable.

We did love the location, it was close to everything that we needed. It was a very cosy room. The people working there was so Nice and helpful. And the breakfast was amazing.

Our room did not get cleaned once on 6 days. Also it was no balcony, that i missed. And something to hang all the wet towels on.
