The apartment itself is quite OK. It is definitely very spacious and located literally two streets away from the beach. It was possible to check in early - which was really helpful after a night flight. The beds are comfortable; it does have some kitchen amenities - some of them working better or worse and some clean and some dirty. It does have one big disadvantage....

The owner 'forgot' to mention that there is a construction site just outside the apartment where work starts at 7 am and finishes at 7 pm. What is more the living room has no blinds as they are broken down so you sit on the sofa facing the construction workers and even with the closed window the noise is clearly heard. Forget about the balcony which is nice and in theory you could have breakfast there with some partial sea view but with the noise of the construction site it's basically unusable. Plus the sea view will be gone when they complete the construction. This makes this apartment a complete NO GO until the construction is completed - probably in a few years time..Of course the price is regular not even discounted because of this.

1 block from the beach. Pizzeria with craft beer and small variety store next door. Bus stop 2 steps from the building. 10 min walk from Carmel Market. Open concept living room and kitchen. All necessary kitchen and bathroom requirements. Modern furnishings and ambience. Excellent for business purposes. Elevator takes you directly into the apartment.
