Nice quiet location. Neat and clean. Friendly host.

Hosts very friendly, we arrived at Christchurch early in the morning and could leave our luggage even before check in time, allowing us to visit Christchurch without luggage in the car. Very nice and quiet location outside town, but easy to find.

It was lovely to be in the country, very quiet. Breakfast was great. Towels were new and fluffy. Very clean, big unit. Owner was very friendly.

Was a little more “ out of the way” than we expected, but this was due to State Highway changes. Once we knew where to go, it was fine. Very easy to get into Rolleston or Highway South, takes a little longer to get back to Christchurch.

Great location, host lovely and helpful, great space & good shower.

Bed a little uncomfortable but OK

Everything was perfect. Best place to stay if visiting Christchurch. By adding smart TV and closed lid bin for kitchen will make it even more fabulous.

Country location, wonderfully peaceful. Large area to enjoy lying on the carpet with the sun streaming in! Loved the "normal" things - towels that had dried on a line outside rather than white fluffy ones that had been bleached and dried mechanically. Same with the sheets. Loved the big share bag of coffee in the fridge and the share containers of shampoo, conditioner etc. At last, common sense prevails!! Mary went the extra mile for us - greatly appreciated! Very memorable accommodation and hosts. I hope we get to come back and stay again

Good selection of breakfast items nicely presented. Very nice kitchen and bathroom in a spacious apartment set in park like surroundings - what more could you want.

Towels smelt a bit musty . Plug by heater was a bit dodgy my hairdryer kept turning on and off when using and bottom plug didn’t work

We Had a lovely stay highly recommend. Mary and John are great hosts so welcoming and friendly and very accommodating. Broadfield is a great little place in the country side for getaway not far from shops and restaurants. Super toasty and warm, comfy beds, great shower, clean and tidy has everything you need for that getaway. My boys 7 and 4 loved waking up in the country side too seeing the cows, sheep and cute little kitten plus a random duck.

Nothing we where very happy with the accommodation and our stay will defiantly return.
