Villa Nepos is located in the center of the old town. It is well furnished and very well maintaned. Comfortable beds, modern baths and AC in every room made the stay during this hot summer very comfortable. Tomislaw welcomed us and did an amazing job to make our stay in Split comfortable as possible. Thank you.

Great location right in Split. Easy access to the harbor and old town Split. Very nice size with good AC.

It's more of an apartment so you don't have daily service. Not a downside, just letting people know.

The location is really good, situated inside of the Palace. There are some ancient artefacts inside of the apartment, just like in a museum. Nice view. The staff was friendly, we were met at the nearest parking spot and led to the apartment. The apartment is spacious.

First of all, the booking ad is misleading – it’s not a hotel, but the apartments. Wi-fi connection was not enough to make a proper zoom call. First night there was no hot water in the shower, because the boiler was off. I had to switch it on myself the day after. AC in the bedroom makes loud noises every 1-2 min, which is annoying.

Piaca apartment: great central location on the piazza, atmosphere, historic design with modern amenities, great breakfast at kavala, communication with Mate pre/trip and assistance with boat trip, helping with luggage. Mate and Toma are gems.

some small changes can really elevate the experience. mattresses were too firm. master bedroom should be switched downstairs because it has a more comfortable bathroom. the master bathroom has an awkward space and mirror design. shower doesn’t drain fast enough so the shower over flows. this is just meant as constructive criticism and I would not hesitate to stay here again!

The apartment is well furnished and decorated. The location is in the center of the Roman ruins, close to the Riva waterfront, and near shops and restaurants. The apartment has all the amenities one needs (clothes washer, kitchen with dishwasher, etc.). The staff was exceptional and accommodated all our needs.

Right inside the east gate of Diocletian's Palace, just steps from the bus station. It doesn't get any better than this. We had the Augusti Apartment on the 3rd floor with lovely views of the gate, mausoleum, and belltower. The décor suited the ancient building and old stone walls perfectly. We enjoyed all the modern amenities in a luxurious setting. The breakfast was served at a restaurant across the square and was quite good. The crown jewel of this accommodation is Maté who goes above and beyond in making sure his guests are treated like royalty. Exceptional communicator, extraordinarily helpful and with endless excellent recommendations, he really puts this spot over the top. Don't look any further. Book the best stay in Split right here.

The water temperature in the shower dropped off after a couple of showers and using the washing machine. It’s to be expected after a days use of hot water in a short span of time I suppose. The rest of the apartment made up for this minor inconvenience in spades!!

The location and rooms were amazing. Mate and his staff were the best part of not only our time in Split but our entire trip to Croatia. Highly recommend staying with him - he is a wonderful host and person.

The property was in the middle of a popular square and very close to everything that you could possibly need. It was not noisy at all at night because we had great windows. Breakfast was at a café just right outside of our accommodations. The cafe for breakfast was delicious! We arrived early from our boat charter and check in wasn’t until 4:00. Mate was very accommodating and met us close by to take our luggage so we can enjoy the day until check in.

We asked Mate to schedule taxi for us to the airport. He gave us a price range of what to expect. The driver then charged us 500 K, equivalent to $100! Needless to say we were quite surprised but paid. I texted Mate to let him know but he was as “surprised” as we were since there’s only a few drivers that he would recommend for the guests…hmmmm
