Excellent breakfasts. Italian style evening dinners also excellent. Don't be late for breakfast or dinner as meals served precisely on time or even a little early. Suggest being ready to eat at least 5 mins before time! Location was very good, considering that the centre of the ski resort is dominated by two large hotel complexes that squeeze out space for small "pension" hotels like this. Excellent at-call mini bus shuttle service for going to the ski resort or to eat out, and only an easy 15 mins walk home after eating out, if you don't want to call out Manako for the mini-bus when its late in the evening. Rooms and beds are comfortable, if small, but that is as usual in Japan. Nice individual onsen-style spa baths to soak out the tired body after a big day on the slopes.

Absolutely fantastic hosts Yoko and Mori, we so enjoyed the dinners, drive service by Manako was great, location is close to resort, ski area offers perfect variety, the cabin was just right for the 4 of us... and our teenagers loved it!
