Bedroom and bed situation (2BRs and 3 beds) worked for our group of siblings. Underground parking was convenient. Building was secure. Unit was well stocked in kitchen and the decor was modern, appealing, and for the most part, comfortable. About 6-7 blocks to the ocean; 3-4 blocks to the Third Street Promenade; 10+ blocks to UCLA Santa Monica Medical Center. A number of restaurants within walking distance including an upscale Mexican restaurant on the ground level of the building.

Rug in living room was worn and dirty; back bathroom toilet ran if you didn't jiggle the flushing handle, a lamp in the living room was broken and not functional. Living area is small. Tried to extend our stay and never heard back from the host. Some homeless/drug users around the building, but this is common now in Santa Monica (and elsewhere) in CA.
