Our family of 5 shared two rooms here (also called Tangara Casonal Rustica) & would definitely stay here again - good location, clean & excellent value. The breakfast was delicious with multiple food selections and fresh juices. Birds served as a perfect alarm for us every morning. The location is right outside of La Fortuna - we had a rental car and were able to navigate to the sites easily. A gas station and small market was right down the road. We organized our own excursions, however many other guests were picked up from the hotel for their outings. We never encountered any needs - great breakfast, well maintained, amazing view of Arenal, safe & fridge in room, close to town without any noise - we had a great stay!

We liked everything!! The pool was a little cloudy and the smaller bathrooms are really the only two things I can think of that weren't great! It's certainly one of the best maintained 3 star hotels I've been to!

Loved our stay so much. Really nice rooms, breakfast was very good, staff really friendly. Could book tours from there but we had already done it ourselves

About a 25 minute walk into central town which we didn’t mind, but worth knowing if you don’t have a car

Mooie tuin , hele vriendelijke ontvangst, ruime kamer/bungalow, goede airconditioning, geen muggen, prima parkeren bij het hotel. Klein maar fijn zwembad met ligstoelen. Sympathiek. Ligt ietsje buiten Fortuna centrum en dat is prima

Ligt niet direct aan de doorgaande weg maar vooral vroeg in de ochtend kun je het vrachtverkeer toch horen. Als je licht slaapt valt het wel op.

Staff polite and helpful. Breakfast was generous and varied. Bonus of a small swimming pool. Gardens nicely kept. Rooms spacious and comfortable. Close to town and excursions.

Could hear group next door when they got a little noisy so maybe some noise insulation? They didn’t continue late so not a problem but could be if a less considerate group.

The staff were exceptionally lovely and helpful. The room was really clean and spacious with very comfortable beds. The breakfast was delicious.

Posizione comoda e vicina al centro (5 min in macchina). Due Letti da una piazza e mezzo molto comodi. Colazione ottima. Staff molto gentile. Giardino ben curato, e ricco di vegetazione.

Luce nel bagno non funzionante per le due giornate di soggiorno. Ci hanno messo una lampada a stelo provvisoria. Macchina esterna del condizionatore molto rumoroso.
