Hotel staff was amazingly accommodating…we suffered an injury and were running late and they assured us there wouldn’t be a problem.,.there wasn’t.

TV is a little outdated

hot springs were nice. they helped us with laundry (thank you!!)

reception was helpful but wasn’t very welcoming, felt a bit sterile. bit far from town - PLEASE NOTE - the accommodation is NOT in La Fortuna town (as noted on booking.com), it is 4k out of town (30min walk)

the pools were nice and the cafe was good. Staff was helpful with taxis

what wasn’t disclosed is that the pools have tour groups dropping by throughout the day so it can get loud and crowded. They permit dogs on site also which meant some fairly obnoxious small dogs barking incessantly. Also, the shower head in room 3 points high up at the opposite wall, so it was fairly ineffective.

The assistant of the place didn’t know anything we asked about the facilities, the location was wrong, which made us waste more money than expected because it was too far away, when we asked for help because the door wasn’t opening the assistant who works here laughed in my face
