I had to leave in a rush and my expensive toothbrush was left behind. I immediately sent a message but they claimed it wasn’t there. Wish there was a bit more honesty at this Sonder.

Wonderful apartment, perfect for two friends. Very clean. Unique and cool space. Delicious coffee. Amazing roof top. Comfortable beds and pillows. Loved the shower. The record player was a nice touch. We were excited to use it but ours was broken. I was impressed with how fast Myra came by to fix it. She was so nice and helpful! I gave “check in” only 3 stars because there is some discrepancy between the room you see on the VRBO app vs the Sonder app. Ours was two different units. The check in requires more steps than other VRBOs because you are going through the Sonder company. So you have to download their app and do your check in and communication through there. This caused some confusion for us because we realized we were getting a different room than what we saw on our Vrbo confirmation. So be aware that you are most likely booking a “type” of room (I.e. a 2 bdr 2 bath) and not the exact room you see on VRBO. I would like to see this more clearly explained on the VRBO site. However, we did want to say that after we were all checked in and in our room, everything was perfect. Worth the extra steps. And their employees on site (shout out to Myra) are awesome. This particular location, btw, is perfect if you want to be close to the city center. Parking is all metered in this area, so you may want to taxi or walk places.

Once I made my reservation, it was difficult to adjust for an earlier arrival in the week. I was bounced between VRBO and the property manager several times and email was not effective, I had to call twice to speak with someone. Property is awesome.

This is a great place to stay 10-20 minute walk from all things downtown Philly. We really enjoyed being close to Chinatown. Our only complaints were loud neighbors and the living room could use some comfy chairs and pillows for down time. Otherwise really enjoyed it!

I love this Two bedroom apartment , only one complaint is not parking in this building has to park the street! Someone hit me left back bumper when I left Philadelphia, I parked my car on the street two blocks away from my living place . When I picked up my car I found the back bumper was hit and I didn’t have camera to record who did it, so disappointed this central Philadelphia…hopefully get better in the future!

We enjoyed our stay here. The room was pristine, and the location was excellent. I removed one overall star because the beds/mattresses were really uncomfortable :(

Excellent amenities and room

I recently had the pleasure of staying as this property and I must say, it was an amazing experience. The view from my room was great and the amenities that was included such as the rooftop with a great view where the gym is also located. It was also very walkable to nearby shops and activities in the city. The only issue I faced during my stay was finding parking near the property. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway.

Easy to get into the building, good location and everything we needed for our stay. Would stay here or at another sonder location in the future.

We had a great stay, had tons of amenities and a relaxing environment. Also very quiet!

I needed to come to the area for a work site visit. Perfect place to stay if you need to “work from home”. Coffee maker made my life so much easier. I was able to make breakfast and lunch and then continue with my work. I would definitely stay again.

Loved the big windows and convenient location.

It was an awesome place for the price! Parking was very convenient and only a block away- paid about $50 for 48 hours. Could hear a lot of the activity outside the building when it was time for bed but the ear plugs that were in the room saved us! Overall, would definitely recommend and do it again!

Amazing stay, great amenities

Everything we needed was there, but it was an industrial, minimalist style, making everything feel a bit like a student hostel. .

Headed back to Philly to pick up kid #1 from college and we decided to make it a long Mother's Day Weekend. The space was very clean, well equipped, comfortable, and in a convenient location to Center City and public transportation.

It was my husband MIL and 4 year old daughter staying for the weekend stay. We did a lot of sight seeing. Location was great for us. We did the go city pass so most of the places were within 10 mins of the hied. It was clean place mother in law loved it how it had everything. Only thing she didn’t like was the window in the top of one of the bedrooms. There’s one tv in the living room and watching it at night that room would light up. Other than that place was fantastic. We loved it. Definitely coming back again.

Checking in instructions were clear; however, I had to upload photos of ID and go through face recognition to complete the reservation, which has never happened before with VRBO bookings. I guess it is meant to be a safety measure, but it might be easier to just check in a hotel in the future... The neighborhood looked very apocalyptic, full of old industrial buildings, with many converted to garages. Trader Joe's and Chinatown is just on the other side of the high way, but you would have to pass by many homeless people sleeping outside the Convention Center. I did not feel safe enough to go out alone after dark. I wish the parking instructions would include some specific addresses and rates of the nearby garages, rather than referring guests to a third party app. After driving around the block, we finally parked at a garage in a neighboring block for $29 a night. The current construction next to the garage made it a little hard to access, especially with suitcases, but it was relatively close. But if you need parking, you would need to add $30 to the nightly rate of Sonder apartments.

The apartment was spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped for a long weekend stay. The Sonder support staff was excellent. I will certainly try to stay at Sonder properties in the future.

We really enjoyed this property. It’s completely remodeled and blocks from Independence Hall, the Convention Center, etc. It appears the neighborhood is turning over and this is the first building to get updated. Thanks!
