This is a spacious apartment for families on a budget. Near several beaches and up to 1km walk from Split old town. Decor and furnishings quite old-fashioned, but I gave it good scores as its all fine if youre on a tight budget.

Fresh, nice, close to the beach, you had towels and all the amenities you needed. Ivan was also very helpful with booking shuttles and showing us where to go. We even forgot a pair of earring that he called the airport shuttle driver to ask if we wanted to turn around and come get, very kind! Cozy little outdoor patio, with olive trees and pomegrenades an arms lenght away.

We were staying in family visiting Split for the first time in August. The flat is in very condition. The owner very friendly and always available. Split beaches are about 15min walking distance, but both types are possible small stones or sand. Downtown is about 25 minutes walk. Valuable private parking is available down the flat. All facilities are in the surrounding: supermarkets, bakeries, pharmacy, etc. We definitely recommend the place.

This lovely apartment is at the far end of the beach - walking distance to the Palace but far enough away from all the hubbub of the touristy parts. Our host was very accommodating, checking with us to ensure all was well and drove us to the bus station.

Ivan was a great host. He was friendly and eager to help with suggestions and advice. Overall, the place was very convenient to get to, and beautiful beaches were just around the block. The place was very clean and is spacious and comfortable. Ivan was welcoming and just amazing. He also mailed my headphones that I forgot at his place back to me. You will not regret staying at his place. Thank you Ivan.

It was lovely week at apartement Marija. Apartment was very spacy and very well equipped. Location was perfect for us, near beaches and food markets, restaurants and center.

Large apartment in great location. Very quiet but a very short walk to shops, great restaurants and beaches. Lovely walk along the beach into the city centre.

I liked the stay at the appartmant very much. The owner is extremely friendly and helpful. The place is clean, nice, plenty of space. The mattress is not as high quality as in some fancy hotels but good enough. Kitchen is nice, useful and has everything you need.

This apartment should not be described as a hotel so much as one of a couple of apartments that the owner rents from his building (he lives on the ground floor). It was very clean but it felt like staying at someone's house while they were away. The kitchen was small but adequate, there was a nice balcony with a view of the sea, and the beds were very comfortable. There was no dishwasher or laundry machine. The bathroom was European style (a bathtub and shower spray but no shower doors so better not to stand up when showering). It was about a 20+-minute walk to the sites of old town, and 10 minutes to a nearby beach. Ivan, our host, was very generous and twice offered to drive us someplace in his car.

We had a great time. It was an easy walk to the beaches and we also walked to the ferry. The owner was very helpful and checked in on us. One thing to note was that we were asked to pay in cash. It was not a big deal since there are ATMs closeby. However, it would have been good to know that first so that we could have exchanged money while we were out during the day instead of after we had everything packed up to leave. There is an airconditioner in the main dining/kitchen area & small fans in the bedrooms. It is clean and comfortable. But is it a Croatian home, not a modern hotel - so if you want modern décor then the apartment choices are not for you.

The furnitures are quite woody and the kitchen is a bit run down. A very friendly and helpful landlord. Apartment location is near the beach.

Loved the place! So spacious and clean, modern and convenient. Ivan and his mother make sure you are extremely comfortable and enjoying your stay (they even helped us with our laundry!) five star service!

Had a great stay here. The apartment is close to the swimming beaches and has a nice balcony to have breakfast on. Its an easy stroll into the center of town.

Ivan was an excellent host and was very welcoming and helpful. The apartment is really well located for the old town, the beach and nice places to eat and drink are nearby along with supermarkets. The apartment was very new, clean and comfortable. Everything you need for self catering was in place and I would thoroughly recommend a stay in Vila Marija and that you visit the wonderful City of Split.
