Excellent stay in Vlatos; lovely villa with very large outdoor area. The villa was very well equipped/stocked (better than what we have experienced in other villa's). Plenty of sunbeds around the pool. Quiet surroundings. Very friendly owner/agent/cleaning lady. The villa is located right in the middle between the beaches of South West Crete & North West Crete + close to Topolia Gorge (where we did a hike)

For us ok, as we had a car & we knew of the location beforehand, but to those that book this villa, be prepared to be in the car quite a lot in order to explore Western Crete. There are a few things at walking distance, but not much.

The house and surroundings are simply amazing. Located in the center of the western part of Crete, all beaches there are within reach (30-45mins) and the scenery during the drive is great. There are many walking trails nearby so also ample opportunities for a very active holiday as well

Villa Vlatos is an absolutely incredible place and cannot recommend it more. So many things we loved about it including the tranquil location, the beautiful area, amazing garden, the great hiking, the friendly staff, the silence at night, the awesome little tavernas with delicious food and the fantastic beaches within a short drive. The villa is also equipped really well including an awesome swimming pool, modern kitchen, lovely roof terrace and comfy beds.

Nothing at all

It was quiet and peaceful. Green surroundings, trees, flowers, fresh fruits,... The host was very friendly. The villa was clean and in good condition. Ideal for 4 persons.

The bathroom was small for 4 persons, a specially because the villa could be rented for 8 persons.

Country Location in own grounds with a lovely pool. House was spotlessly clean. Soft white fluffy towels and also pool towels provided. My favourite Olivia Greek Toiletries 😀 Lovely white bed linen. WoW what a Welcome Pack .... Never had one anything like it. Absolutely fantastic. Two homemade cakes which were amazing. Kitchen had everything you could possibly need and more, my husband loves to cook 😀 You could hear a pin drop so quiet and peaceful. If you want peace and tranquillity it’s the best 😀 On site caretaker, we didn’t expect but was so discreet and you didn’t know he was there. He also did a mid week linen and towel change 😀 Two large terraces, one covered and one not. Gardens had so many trees, Olives, Quince, Fig, Pomegranate, Chestnut, Lemon. If you want to forget the real world ...... you couldn’t find better. We loved this house and would go back tomorrow.

Two small Bathrooms, one with a shower, one only toilet and basin, also Washing Machine. On the plus side two outdoor showers and a little hut in the garden that you could use when you are at the pool. Marble lined with fluffy white towels, toiletries, a toilet and shower. It was immaculately clean and we thought it the best bathroom in the house 😂😂
