The hotel was great and the people very welcoming. However I felt while talking a shower hurting my elbow because the bathtub was too slippery. Unfortunately I was in a hurry and forgot to mention it to the staff.

Overall a good hotel. Friendly staff and in good condition. The hotel is a little noisy if you’re facing the highway side of the property. There aren’t too many options for food close by either.

The front desk staff was helpful, engaging, and friendly. In our five day trip, we encountered numerous different front desk attendants. I was impressed by how uniformly well trained they all were. The breakfast buffet was the standard fare we've come to expect at a Holiday Inn Express - satisfying if not spectacular. Some elements of the room showed wear, like carpeting that was a bit frayed and towels that were likewise frayed, but these ultimately did not make us uncomfortable. The shuttle van service to and from the airport was reliable and prompt. The hotel's location was ideally located in a central position, affording us quick access to Mesa (for a family event), to Scottsdale (to visit Taliesin West), to central Phoenix sites (like the Desert Botanical Garden and the Heard Museum), and the airport.

My flight home was cancelled due to the weather and was stuck in Phoenix until the next morning. I found this hotel online and I am so glad I did. Not only was it close to the airport but the gentleman behind the reservation desk was beyond kind and helpful! I think his name was Maximiliano (but I could be wrong). And he was a great first impression for the hotel! I have been to many hotels and never have I come across someone who explained not only the details of breakfast, shuttles and checkout but he was super helpful with food delivery (SW Air only gave me crackers so I was starving) and taxi service (I had to be at the airport before the hotel shuttle began). He didn’t make me feel like an inconvenience or a bother. He was so kind and after the day I had with my flights, he was a shining star! The room was clean, comfy bed, and Dove products! Great choice!

This was a great hotel. We stayed one night but it was enough to know that we will stay here again if in Phoenix. Very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was pretty good for a “free” breakfast.

Unit#215 where we were given was a well used, not dated just well used. Wall coverings and side panels of bathroom wall was peeling and shower faucet was leaking badly and making loud dripping sound when hitting tub even when it was tightly turned off. Mattress on one queen bed was slowly making an V shape visually and figuratively and was a bit uncomfortable. Noted that i did have a back issue 4 days before our stay. Did mentioned to the maintenance worker regarding shower faucet but not to mgr or front desk. Staff was friendly, helpful and generally nice, breakfast was decent and has pretty much what is expected. We stayed 3 nights starting from Friday and leaving Monday morning. Overall it was a average stay but also remember that it is a 2-2.5 hotel

Close to airport clean and good breakfast.

Employees were friendly and helpful. The hotel and room were clean. Several power and USB outlets in the room did not work well. It would have been nice for more gluten free options at the breakfast like I've had at other Holiday Inn Expresses.

My stay at the Holiday Inn Express and Suites was nice. I would stay again. My only complaint was the shuttle service doesn't run earlier than 6:00 am. It did not accommodate my early flight. Other than that everything else was good.

Pleasant stay

The facility is clean and the employees are incredibly friendly. The layout of the room is spacious and the beds are comfortable.

We were caught up in a need for cancellation due to the blowout of the windows on a recent flights as we were unable to get out of our city. We called early in the day to request cancellation and they said no. A absolute waste of money and totally inflexible with a circumstance out of our hands. We had booked just 12 hours before so it wasn’t like we were sitting on the reservation for weeks. They were super rude about it to both Expedia who advocated for us as well as to us directly when we called. Recommend you stay elsewhere. Should have asked them to give a walk in a free room on us so it could be used but doubt they would do this as they only showed inflexibility.

The staff were run off their feet looking after people whose flights had been cancelled, so it took 45min to check in. For an overnight stay, good location to the airport, generous breakfast and handy shuttle. The shuttle doesn’t run all the time, but a cab will cost USD$15. Overall a good stay and what I expected based on previous reviews.

Clean room and reception or lobby area. Breakfast was good. Room was cozy and bed very comfortable. Staff was friendly will definitely be returning if in the area. Great accommodation overall!
