There was no hot water in the entire property for the first two days; the water was frozen, and there was no breakfast one day when I paid for it. And all was expensive. They overcharge the stay for almost $250 more. I paid $620, and they charged $853. The security deposit is $200 per night, not for a stay. So mine was 600 total

The view was exceptional of the falls and spacious clean suite. Parking and shuttle was fantastic. Convenient with restaurants in property.

Pool was closed one day and needed to have them come and fix hot water in bathroom. But the fix was very quick and no issues after.

Nous avions pris une chambre familiale avec vue totale sur les chutes au 15eme étage mais on nous a attribué une suite au 12eme avec vue partielle sur les chutes. Lorsque nous nous sommes plaint de cette situation, on nous a attribué une chambre au 40ème étage mais la vue était coupée par le montant en métal de la chambre voisine, nous empêchant d’avoir une belle vue sur les chutes canadiennes. Les réceptionnistes successifs que nous avons eus étaient désagréables et n’ont donné aucune information sur le petit déjeuner ou le checkout. De plus, la suite réservée comportait un canapé lit mais il n’y avait qu’un oreiller et une couverture : aucun drap du dessous ni du dessus pour l’hygiène. Nous avons encore dû réclamer alors que nous avions demandé au réceptionniste si la literie du canapé était bien prévue, lorsque nous nous en sommes aperçus au moment de faire le lit mais il s’est écoulé 40 minutes avant qu’on nous apporte les draps, à 23h45 alors que nous étions très fatigués. Le canapé est très très inconfortable et n’est pas digne du standing d’un tel hôtel. Enfin, il faut savoir que la piscine n’est ouverte que de 6h à 12h, c’est bien peu quand on doit quitter la chambre à 11h… Bref pour un hôtel de cette gamme et vu les tarifs, c’est très décevant.

Breakfast was good. Only complaint was the difficulty getting a table and food was cold by the time we were able to sit and eat.

The location is perfect, and our view was beautiful, the staff are very courteous; however there are issues that overcome the positives from our experience. My bill far exceeds what I was told it would be. I was charged valet parking for every day I was there even though the car never moved. There are miscellaneous fees totaling $386.32. I was offered an upgrade at check in, I was told an extra $200 a night, for 2 nights, but I was charged a total of $927.20!!!! To say I’m angry and disgusted is an understatement! I will never return to Embassy Suites. Oh and for all that money, the shower door was broken and didn’t close all the way!

See the above note!! My bill is not even close to what I was told it would be, I will be disputing it.

The room and view were nice, the bed was comfy

The fact that i paid over $1000 to stay there, and they proceeded to gouge you for an additional $75 a night for parking. On top of that, a basic feature any cheap motel has is free wifi.. over $1000 for a room and they need to gouge you $10 a day for wifi on top of that? Absolutely ridiculous. Will never spend another dollar there.

View from the room was good,

Front desk staff's behavior was awful. They were really cold, seems like sales people sitting selling their products. They didnt provide the free wi fi even after asking twice, They had the promotional codes but first time told me that there is no free wifi. Then I showed them that its mentioned in booking, then they gave me promotional code which was right in from of then Breakfast was not good at all. I could never reach out to anyone over phone, be it front desk or room service. Phones never got connected I was charged for two movies, I told them we didnt buy any. They asked me if there were kids in room to which I said "Yes" They told me it must be them and nothing can be done for that. I told them that there should be adult consent before approval but they told me they cannot do anything. I paid around cad cad 57 including taxes. I dont know if this falls under grievances but it was really bad experience for me. I am not sure I will ever consider their property again.. Paid cad 35 for parking

The bathroom door didn’t lock and the wait for the elevators. Also requesting being around 10th floor and being put on 37th floor. Also the bedroom was hot, even with the ac on.

Mit der Rechnung wurde ein zu hoher Preis abgebucht. Das Hotel hat auf keine meiner Mails nun seit 2 Wochen reagiert. Das hat nichts mit Kundenorientierung zu tun.

Great location for what we were there for

The elevator wait times are horrible. Waited over a half hour when trying to check out. Was almost late for event waiting for elevator

Location and view, only when you book a full fall view room

Nice view .. only when you upgrade but it doesn't worth over 480 CAD for just one night Parking is so expensive 100 CAD I booked a full falls view from booking.com and it turned out to be a partial view and staff said we are not giving a full view option for any third parties booking like booking.com and whatever you saw on booking.com is incorrect and there was no other option expecting paying more to upgrade to get what I was expecting.

The view from the room over the Falls was brilliant. You can get the same/similar views from the breakfast room/restaurant. All the staff were friendly. The room was clean and well laid out.

We did a bit trapped into expensive hotel parking. There were lots of staff placed outside the hotel who could be better employed making it easier to use the cheaper off-site car parking. We got to the hotel very late and even though we were assured the onsite TGI was still open, they had decided to close it basically as we walked in, (there were still customers as the bar). This meant we had to walk 15 minutes to the all night food court by the nearby casino.

Breakfast buffet was mediocre at best

The view was amazing. The breakfast was so nice with a view of the falls! Also don’t be nervous with off site parking. It was a breeze and there was always a shuttle ready to take us back and forth!

Lots to do around it. Because it was a busy time I had to pay for valet as opposed to just parking underground

15th floor view was alright. Good and comfortable size room.

Only one elevator for lobby to 19th floor. We had to wait for long time for it as it’s full on rush hour. Long wait for breakfast. It’s just basic breakfast and nothing fancy.
