Beautiful location. Deana at the Tiki bar was exceptional, made us feel like old friends

The hotel needs a renovation, older buildings are showing their age.

Location was good …but that was all

Outside was nice inside was old outdated and dirty.they had a refrigerator and microwave as an end table.lights were burnt out dirty towels were left in the bathroom from a previous guest stains on lamp shades.no attention to the interior at all!!!!!!

Beim Check in wurde meine Kreditkarte von der grantigen Rezeptionistin mittels Magnetstreifen eingescannt und ich hatte plötzlich 274$ minus. Obwohl der Aufenthalt schon im Vorhinein bezahlt wurde. Trotz wiederholter Urgenz meinerseits bei Mrs Adam, der Rezeptionistin blieb ich auf 274$ sitzen. Die Abbuchung erfolgte exakt um 16 Uhr, als ich eincheckte. Gebt eure Karte im Plantation of Crystal River nicht aus der Hand!!!

Considering it was in the aftermath of hurricane Idalia, the staff was great. But one of the amenities were available.

They could have done a better job in letting guests know the situation due to hurricane. We tried multiple times to call. The phone answer with the standard message but we couldn't get hold of anyone. They should have changed the message to inform guests. Or put something up on their website. Or send out mass text message. We drove all the way down there without knowing what we would run into.

Canal view, walkable paths, nice pool area, huge room with 2 beds and pull out, friendly staff, lots of amenities!

Many details not tended to which I would have expected from a property marketing as a timeshare: mildew on bathroom ceiling, all hallways needed vacuuming and wet wash, stained linens, bath faucet would not completely turn off, rust etc.

It was right on the water. Beautiful trees. Adventure center next door. Beautiful architecture.

Food was meh. They charge you good food prices for mediocre food. Got better food out in town. Halls are not carpeted and children running yelling, doors slamming all night. Carpet on the stairs was filthy. Tub was broken. Mildew in the tile crevices. Water tasted like chlorine. Spa not open on Sundays. So much for relaxing Girls weekend! Nice resort prices for a 3 star hotel experience.

Good WiFi, location is great.

Hotel needs maintenance, a good cleaning and a better trained staff. Rooms are not what advertised (on booking.com we booked a recently renovated room, which turned out they don't even have). Very basic, first room they gave us had a broken shower and urine all over the toilet seat (clearly nog cleaned). Second room had an airco leaking in the toilet, when sitting on the toilet drops fell on you! We could not be bothered to switch rooms again, as it seemed every room had something broken. Restaurant has a terrible smell, dinner extremely expensive and breakfast buffet not good at all. Burgers and fries (and staff) at the Pool bar are they only positive exeption. The rooms and the rest of the hotel are not clean at all (mold and dust everywhere). No bed table, no proper place to hang up towels, mold in the bathtub, windows and outside seat dirty, Dead insects everywhere in the room. Swimmingpool was closed for half of our stay. Staff didn't seem to bother, very ignorant and unpolite. When asking for a compensation they told us there was nothing they could do as we booked through booking.com. Thankfully booking refunded us a part of our stay. This hotel has a great location and lots of potential, it just lacks maintenance, cleaning and proper management. In 25 years of holidays all over the world, it's been the worse place I have stayed.

Having a pool and eating places on premises.

The pool was dirty each time we used it. Our room had mold in the shower. The towels for pool use that we had left in room were left there by cleaning staff but they took the white room towels. There was no sign or anyone to tell you at pool where to put your used towels. Found this very frustrating. Coffee sugar cups and one packet of creamer were provided in room but no stirrer for the coffee to be stirred. Was very disappointed.My reservation was made with room on canal side. That is not what I was given. We were told on map where room was bit not that you had to enter from inside hotel to get to it. My husband on a walker lot of confusion for us.

Good size pool. Friendly staff at Tiki bar, restaurant, and maintenance. 1 hour scenic tour was good. Captain and Shelly were great.

Our room was recently "remodeled" but the bathroom needed work still. Shower head leaked from top when on, towel bar fell off and there is no place to hang anything in the bathroom or main room. A new TV system was just installed as well and our TV did not work. Paul who came and fixed it was great. Room was also very dark even though freshly painted white. Only light was a single table lamp and an older very dim corner ceiling fixture. Our last night, teenagers occupied the hot tub sitting around it (not in it) so we were unable to use it then.

Good rooms, comfortable bed, friendly staff, good service A plus +++ the dehumidifier in the room, Boat docking was good except the in and out in the ramp. We only had breakfast in the restaurant but it was good and a reasonable cost.

Stairs carpets were very dirty and doors to the hall way very hard to open. Bathtub in the room needed refinish, painting was falling off. The shower head in the bath tub should be a hand held type, it would help the older generation. Ramp for boat, with the boat club taking all the area close to the ramp is a nightmare, there is no place to park the boat while putting the trailer in or out.

i really liked the look of it, and the fact our room was across from the pool, and they had extras like boat rides, star bucks, and a spa

our toilet was stopped up so we called the front , they said someone would get right on it so we went to the pool for 3 hours came back no one came to fix toilet i had to get kinda ugly about it then they moved us to another room and the ac was out so again we got moved to a room in the tp floor to thr oldest part of the hotel we had to walk in the rain to move our things we were so tired we stayed that night but next morning got moved to yet another room of which wa cheaper than our origanal room,it was horrible, we were so stressed i was never so glad to leave a hotel

It was conveniently located for our activities. The food by the pool was good.

It was dingy—mildew in the shower, tile floors in hallway needed to be mopped, windows were old. The hotel staff was pleasant but there wasn’t enough staff available by the pool.

The Plantation is in a fantastic location. It is convenient to so many things in Crystal River. The hotel itself is old, but the rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. The cleaning staff did an excellent job.

The hotel is old and desperately in need of renovation. The bathroom faucet ran during our entire stay. A maintenance man looked at it, but needed to order a part to fix the problem. The bathrooms definitely need renovation.

Great location and loved the historical look.

The stairway carpet was dirty, the rooms weren’t dusted, pillow that went on chair was underneath the bed and what it looked like to be was a period blood stained wall by the bathroom waste basket.

no place to sit outside unless you were at the tiki bar or had a patio suite. dogs barking/howling down the hall.

Gym was ok. Room was large and had a nice view.

A little old and tired furnishings but sufficient for what we needed. Dinner menu was overpriced.

Great location! It’s right on the water for plenty of bird watching or activities, and it’s walking distance to Three Sisters Springs. The staff was very friendly.
