Excellent services with neat room and near to blue mosque

The owners are very nice people. We specially liked the hot spring rolls they serve in the morning. Location is not very far from Sultanhmet metro station and the hagia sofia.

Hotel - Its a scam because its a bed and breakfast and not a hotel, I'm genuinely shocked the reviews are high as they are. You have to collect the key from a convenience shop off the guy and no hotel reception. Wifi - non exsistent asked the guy at shop and no1 came to fix it Shower/bathroom - Most ridiculous thing ive seen. The toilet is inside the shower cubicle and the floor is vinyl wrapped which was peeling. There was no window or extractor fan in the bathroom so used to get smelly. Breakfast - Very poor. Very limited and food was old and stale. Also asked for milk for tea/coffee and the lady said there is none. Ive never been to a breakfast where there was no milk.

Folks be careful to book this property. This is fake hotel. You can see La Mer Boutique Hotel but personal will meet you and put you next door hotel Sefir. Why fake? After bad experience you can ask Invoice amd personal sits next door which is alhogolic store and gives you receipt from credit card machine. Then I asked invoice and he gave me hand written receipt which is completely fake. I am honestly just saw name La Mer and don’t think that’s actual hotel. be careful and even so bad service next door Sefir hotel. big crime

nothing, just bad experience. even i contact to booking.com. they told me it takes 24 hours but booking people how do you reach to La Mer hotel if it does exist just on paper and manages by alhogolic store? good compliance job booking

Breakfast was prepared every morning, the woman was super nice making you eggs and coffee in the morning! The owner was super helpful with everything as well! So comfy and in the heart of Istanbul everyone around is super nice and friendly.

The owner Of the hotel treat you as his family member, will go out of the way to make you comfortable, they care for you. This was my second time in this hotel. Amazing location within the walking distance to the major attractions

We were on top floor with no elevator it was very hard to climb. Breakfast was better on my last visit in 2019.

Room was spacious, airy and clean. Bed mattress was great. Had good sleep. Location was great as just few mins walk to The blue mosque and aya sofia. Lots of shops and restaurants around.

Breakfast was same every day as we stayed there for six days and had to eat the same food every day. No cereal or toaster. Just same egg and turkish bread everyday. My room was on road side and could hear all the noise in the street. Windows should be triple glazed and soundproof.

I did not like anything in this hotel. I advise everyone do not stay at this property.

There was no staff, no cleaners to clean the room daily, the rooms were a mess and no one came to clean the rooms. The breakfast was of poor quality with just bread. I did not do breakfast even once. The wifi was very poor it used to be cut out so we could not use it. No basic toileteries were given we had to buy our own. Very bad customer service. This was not a hotel it was more like a hostel with poor conditions and the bedroom wall was full of damp and fungus.

Breakfast was tasty and the view from the balcony was amazing. The host was very gracious and helpful. The room and bathroom both were extremely clean.

The room had extra bed which made it look a bit small.
