The owner was delightful, very helpful and nice, best property comparing price and quality, very well situated and lots of room for a group. Loved it and planning on going back.

Location: it’s next to Atocha train station and not far from the city center. very spacious, all bedrooms are of decent size and full size beds.

AC doesn’t work, the temperature in all the rooms stayed around 30+ Celsius all the time despite that we turned it on and set it to 26 degrees C. at night some rooms were very stuffy and hot, we barely slept the second night when it was 40 Celsius that day. needs repair/better cleaning: the main bathroom shower head holder is broken so you have to hold it (you can tell it has been broken for a while) and the drain seems to be clogged so the water stays there for a while. it’s not very clean: the glass shelves of the fridge have a lot of stains and food crumbs. the host was responsive but didn’t answer my question about AC. should have provide an instruction about the location, there’s no sign and it’s in a residential building. we had to call to make sure it’s the right place.

Very Central location perfect for main attractions ie Prado and Reina Sofia museo was literally 200metres away! A host of restaurants and bars around the area made it an ideal stop on our tour. Our onward trip was by train and the main train station was also a five minute walk….perfect!

great location minutes from atocha station and a 10-15 min walk to sol square. very clean and spacious rooms. all the amenities you’d expect and all at a ver reasonable price.

The location was perfect for us. The accommodation provided all the basics we needed even if the standard wasn't great.

The first issue was finding that a late arrival cost an extra 20 euros. This was not included in the information before before booking. The general smell of the building and the accommodation was terrible. It smelt of drains in general and one of the bathrooms smelt of sewage. The accommodation can sleep 10 people with 2 bathrooms. 1 bathroom was almost too small to use and the other had a shower that didn't drain so we all had to use a tiny bathroom with the only shower that worked. There was no toilet roll so after a late arrival we had to find a shop to get some essentials. We used the kitchen and found that all the pans with non stick were badly scratched and shouldn't be used. We could only find metal utensils which explained why but made it difficult for us to cook. The dishwasher only had one washing tablet so only one time for washup. There was no draining area and no drying cloths so we couldn't wash up without the machine.

Very nice and cozy space

The location to the museums, train station, park, Royal Palace was wonderful. The apartment was very comfortable.

We had difficulty with one key getting out of the apartment and resorted to using one the one key set. It became a problem when we weren’t together. The shower drain is VERY slow so we had to be careful it didn’t overflow onto the bathroom floor.
