The location was about it. That's the reason I chose to book there, it was near an event I was attending.

The cleanliness and maintenance of the units was sub par- a leaking inlet in the poorly ventilated bathroom meant constant damp, no flyscreen on the bathroom window. Insect splatters and moths. The ancient hairdryer burnt out after 10 seconds, and is likely a fire hazard. The floors were gritty underfoot- they were given a cursory mop between guests, but in corners and under surfaces, bits of gunk, hair, dust, glitter and mostly gritty shoe leavings- no doormat, nowhere to put shoes. Bed itself ended up full of grit even though I used my towel as a rug to wipe feet on. No rugs of any kind to dampen the sounds of upstair guests . Unit above me was moving furniture around at 1am, and sweeping. Worst of all was the fire alarm that kept going off every few hours for twenty minutes before someone- usually cussing- came to shut it off. My checkout was 10am, but at 9:30 housekeeping came, knocked on my door lightly and announced themselves. When I responded that "I'm not checked out yet" they couldn't hear me and proceeded to start putting the pin in. I was not fully dressed yet, so I shouted "I'm still packing!" He replied "please leave the door open when you leave" Why are housekeeping knocking at 9:30? Provide do not disturbs and this won't be an issue. I felt rushed and as though I was a bother for still being in my room during my booked time! The tv was not connected to any wifi or ethernet, so nothing was actually watchable, but this may have been my own misunderstanding of the equipment. For the price, it's a lower range accommodation but they're cutting corners extremely in terms of good cleaning and general maintenance. I should have paid $70 to stay in a pub hotel.

Better than sleeping on the street

First: the property absolutely REEKED of bleach! I opened all the windows but couldn’t get the smell out. Very hard to be in the room. Second: Apart from the ceiling lights no other lights worked; neither bed lamp or the range hood light. Also the security/safety lights outside the building did not work and access was dangerous in the dark. Third: the bedspread was torn. Fourth: there was an iron but no ironing board. Fifth:There were no instructions I could find for the operation of the air conditioner or the tv. Sixth: the smoke alarm went off at least six times in the 15 hours I spent there. No idea who or how it was reset but was very loud while trying to sleep. Seventh: the walls and ceiling are paper thin. Any Noise travels between spaces. There is no privacy

Es hat stark nach Reinigungsmitteln gerochen, so stark dass einem davon übel wurde. Es gab zu wenige Parkplätze. Der Boden war klebrig.

The noise. I could hear the people upstairs clearly talking on the phone like it was in my room. I could clearly hear the conversations of the people next door as if the walls and floors were made from paper mache. I could even hear the blokes balls slapping as he was pounding his missus. I heard the banging of every door, including the foyer entry door, as people come and go from midnight to 4am. The uncleanliness, cup stains on the bedside table, and kitchenette. Blood spatter on the window architrave and wall. Spill marks on the floor near the fridge.The shower had No hot water. I could not empty the bathroom sink after brushing my teeth. The hum of electric motors vibrating the wall intermittently at the head of the bed. The room booked was not like the photo, no balcony. The air freshener was so strong, I lost my sense of taste and smell. The bed was so soft, I felt like I was in a hammock. I paid for two nights but had to book another place elsewhere for the second night as I had very little sleep and could not stay a minute more. So upset and disappointed. I should get a full refund or at least get reimbursed for the second night that I was not there. Parking only for 3 vehicles. Possible fines for on street parking.

The cutlery was dirty with food residue from previous persons who stayed

Absolutely gross. There was snot on the walls. Dirt on the floor. There was black hair on the bathroom floor I had to wear thongs in the shower. The bed sheets had stains on it. When I asked them to clean the room again stating all of this stuff they did not clean any of it. Still had the same stained sheets and dirty pillow that appeared to never been washed. Completely revolting.

Cleaner room! Would’ve been so much better if it was actually clean. Dirtiest hotel room I’ve ever stayed in.

I paid for something I couldn’t use I was so angry I phoned up the apartments before I booked and I specifically asked do u have car parks as I was driving my daughters car from Melbourne to cairns and was full of her stuff I was told their is parking so I said ok will book when I drove there I phoned them up and asked where is rest of the parking their were 3 tiny car parks for 16 apartments they said that’s it just park at the group of shops near their I said I can’t take that risk then for 2 hours looked everywhere to phone up booking .com intone end my daughter booked me somewhere as by now I had travelled 12 hours and stuffed around with your apartments

The guy I spoke to on phone about where I was going to park was just like stiff not our problem. Don’t have much money and helping my daughter escape a bad situation and this happens

I used to like the property but not this time it was disgusting and a waste of my money couldn’t even sleep on the bed

I couldn’t even stay there I wasted my money for 2 nights as there was blood stains on the towels and mould all over the bed so not sleepable unless I want to see the lung specialist also the floors were dirty as soon as I took my shoes off and walked 3 steps I had crumbs and dirt all over my feet I rang and reported it to reception they told me to email them pics and they will get back to me well no one has and they never bothered to change me rooms or reimburse me
