The Location is great and the property has the potential to be amazing it just unfortunately lacks any maintenance and upkeep. The staff were lovely however (see the didnt like section we were lied to prior to arriving).

The property has awful plumbing. I read the horror stories in previous reviews to enquire if it has been fixed on day 1 we arrived and the ground floor toilet was full of waste (pictured) This was the welcome gift to the property. It terns out despite being told all the issues in the other reviews have been rectified this was still very much the case. This toilet looked like this for our whole stay. Shower Water Pressure and temp control also not great. Very disappointing that we had been promised in advance that everything had been rectified. Life is too short to have argued for compensation however there was not really any form of apology from everyone. The repair man looked at it and said "yes its been like that for a year". Also they could not do anything to even clean / clear the blockage so downstairs stunk. The key access system is ok but not the best I would much rather a metal key or keypad. All round see attached images the property lacks really basic and minimal cost maintenance this is disappointing considering the cost. I would stay again (Its not the worst place on the planet). Deposit took the full 1/2 a month to be returned so beware. Worth nothing they were fine with it just slow no like some booking.com deposit nightmares. As long as you are looking for practical accommodation and not glamor then this is an ok stay.

Very little unfortunately. This place is your worst nightmare. Shame as it's in a great location - we know the area well and had the property met even basic expectations, it would have been a great choice. Beyond disappointing

Avoid this property at all cost. It's a health hazard and the facilities are not as advertised. Completely ruined our trip. If you look at the myriad of other places it's also marketed, you will find many people have experienced the same problems over a long period of time but still they persist. Only one door key. Asked for more people in the party to be given access but no-one addressed the request. There is a fundamental problem with the plumbing which meant out of 4 bathrooms in the house, only one worked (the WC) as it should. Top floor bathroom, the toilet didn't work at all and flooded several times - one one occasion so much so that it leaked through light fittings into the bedroom below. Oddly, it was the only shower in the whole property which worked properly though. Toilet on first floor was also broken, shower barely produced a trickle. Other first floor bathroom, toilet worked, shower was less than a trickle. The various plumbing problems meant the water tank situated between first and top floor ran constantly. This resulted in a lot of noise 24/7 which kept us awake and there was next to no cold water which meant we were in danger of scalding ourselves as well as making it difficult to wash. Responsiveness to our multiple calls was very hit and miss and generally, we were fobbed off. Spent huge amounts of time calling the agency, a plumber eventually turned up unannounced and ruined the plans we had for that day. We learnt these problems have existed for some time but still the property is rented out regardless even though the facilities advertised are failing. In addition, the carpets throughout the property are filthy, Wi-Fi details supplied were incorrect, dangerous collection of tangled cables lying on living room floor, fridge wouldn't shut properly, several bags of rubbish had been left at the back door and appeared to have been there for some time.

Unfortunately the only thing good about this property was it’s location

The keyless Access system to the building which requires a mobile phone to enter is a complete disaster. You have to make accounts and profiles just to be able to unlock the door, it is near impossible for multiple users to obtain a key. The free parking is a tiny garage and if your car is bigger than a scooter the front of the car will stick out in the street. The same said garage had what looked like big bags of rubbish from guests over about 2 weeks left outside the back kitchen door. After asking for these to be moved we were expected to return back to the property in order for them to access the bins at short notice. This happened on a number of days over our stay. Communication from hosts was extremely poor and they waited until we had arrived to then start asking for passport information and photographs to be sent over whilst we waited outside the property. A damage deposit is required which I fully expect however cleanliness of this property was very poor. The carpets throughout were heavily stained as were the majority of the paint work. Cracked tiles and showers that trickled out at best. The internet box was located on the floor next to the dining table with god knows how many wires all tangled around each other. Not safe considering this property allows small children aswell has being potential fire hazard. The house is rented out for up to 10 adults however if you sit in the living room and chat you will receive a noise complaint from a neighbour who is clearly not happy that this is used as a short stay rental. Kitchen equipment - glasses cups etc all chipped and stained. An overall extremely stressful experience and the only good thing about this property is when you step outside the front door to the streets of Kensington. You will also have to wait 2 weeks to receive your deposit back. If you stay here be sure to have your phone charged at all times as you won’t be able to get in without it.
