I was covering a match at Cardiff Arms which was a very short walk away - as it, of course, The Principality Stadium... so very convenient for rugby.
The room was very comfortable with a luxurious, huge bed.
A very wide range of choices at breakfast...I also had lunch at the hotel and the Pulled Beef Pie was delicious.
The wi-fi was not great. As I was working and submitting photographs to the USA this was a bit frustrating but (obviously) tethering to my phone resolved the immediate requirement.
No TNT Sport so couldn't watch the Northampton Saints game! Really! How could you? :)

The welcome received was extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel smelled lovely when we walked in. The room was lovely and there was even a lovely handwritten message to wish us a good stay. The location was brilliant and the breakfast was excellent too. Will definitely stay there again. Thank you.

Staff
Old decor, carpet and bathroom, needs a revamp not just for looks but also cleanliness.
Breakfast also not great
