Old part of hotel, grounds & golf course magnificent.
Cocktail bar - at a "country club" the loud beepers provided for every drinks delivery tarnished the ambiance

Very comfortable with lots of choice when it came to finding a spot to relax in. Lots of cosy corners. Good swimming pool and gym. Staff were excellent.
Quite a confusing layout. I felt disoriented…lifts and stairs all over the place.

We didn't have breakfast at the hotel but did enjoy dinner both nights at the main restaurant which was lovely. The setting was great.
The bathroom wasn't very clean, there were hairs in the corner of the shower and behind the door. The bathroom door wouldn't stay open and there was no exhaust fan, so the bathroom stayed extremely steamy for ages. The power points near the bed didn't fit a UK power plug so we had to run power cords around the room to fit our requirements.
