Langley Castle Hotel

Fabulous castle! Great location with very helpful staff. The evening meal was very good.

The hotel was running a promotion which we didn't know about.

Fantastic setting! The restaurant was delicious (best gnocchi I’ve ever had!), and the staff were wonderful.

The place wax exceptional The staff were excellent and attentive. The bedroom was fantastic. The restaurant was excellent fine dining and I would add a shout-out for Mark the chef. His food was incredible but his salmon amuse bouche was absolutely terrific and worthy of a mention. Overall a great place. The castle tour was also excellent and recommended.

The stairs as we were on the second floor but this is a medieval castle so acceptable.

The breakfast room was lovely - we had a dog so we had that to ourselves and that room was more relaxed and 'historic' than the dining area that was much more formal. The view of the castle from our room was lovely, but we had thought that we were booking a room in the castle. The tour was great and the quality of the interior of the castle was lovely. Breakfast was very good.

The TV didn't. work. Two of the four lights in the room didn't work. The shampoo and conditioner were empty or broken when we arrived. The main issue was that we thought from the booking site that we were booking a room in the castle. I did not realise that we were over the lawn in converted stables. I'd also assumed that there would be either a fridge or some way of having oatmilk in my tea but the only way was for me to buy oatmilk and keep it in the hotel fridge. This was our wedding anniversary treat, so that added to the sense of disappointment. I asked for the issues to be fixed, but the lighting issue was only dealt with as we left after our second night. Whilst I'm at it, the beds were really soft and we left with bad backs! So much for romantic getaway!
