Scandic Grand Marina

Location was superb, convenient and walking distance to a lot of points of interest - Helsinki Cathedral, Uspenski Cathedral, the 2 Squares: Market and Senate, National Library, Hop On Hop Off bus, Shopping at Stockman,Kamp and others, the Sky Wheel, the water views ...... and many more. The breakfast is very good. Just one thing, they don't make proper coffee. The facilities are good, there's a sauna, gym and self-service laundry.

The cleaners are inconsistent. Sometimes the room is freshened, sometimes it's not. The rubbish was not collected 1 time and they never gave us clean replacements for our cups and glasses. How are we supposed to clean them ourselves? There's also not even a tissue box in the room.

Close to the Viking Ferry Terminal.

Bathroom was a bit small.

The stay was absolutely wonderful! The hotel had a refined and welcoming atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and everyone had an excellent level of English. The hotel was very clean, and the rooms were well maintained. The thick curtains allowed the room to be completely dark, which was especially useful during the period we stayed, as it was still light outside even after 10 PM. The location is very central, close to the Old Market and Allas Live. We stayed there for a concert and had access to the venue within just 3 minutes. The breakfast was excellent, with a great variety of dishes to suit all tastes.

I would have preferred to be able to make the room a little warmer, but it was not a significant issue for me
