Mercure Hotel & Residenz Berlin Checkpoint Charlie

We had a great stay in this hotel. We booked an ‘apartment with kitchenette’ and the amount of space was incredible- and exceptional value for money. It was lovely having a huge balcony to sit out on and enjoy the summer sun, and our teenager appreciated the separated area for the sofa bed and his own tv! The staff were very welcoming and helpful and the location was excellent, being so close to Checkpoint Charlie and a metro stop being nearby, which gives access to the rest of the city. The only reason I am giving it a 9 is because the room we stayed in may be due a refresh in the relatively near future, but it was very clean and comfortable, and perfect for our family’s needs.

Excellent location, friendly staff with superb breakfast including lactose free options. Laid back atmosphere. Very clean.

The only thing was the pillows. They were very firm

Centre located. Big room.

Last floor without elevator not informed when booking. Room not very clean.
