All went well Paid extra for a great breakfast

A little noisy in the street outside

The location is good unless you need to be nearer the HBB. Access to the Lake, tram stop outside and Zurich Stadelhofen is easy to reach for most places. Restoration of an old building now in pristine white inside - clean presentation. Breakfast was OK but not special despite nice staff. Friendly lady on reception between 11- 8pm. Large bathroom with large bath. Electrical sockets are both Euro and the strange Swiss ones. Quiet room and comfortable bed. Good TV and good Wifi

Reception hours of 11-8pm. We wanted to have our baggage stored but there was no one to take it in the morning. We were told just to leave it by the desk and trustingly, we did this and all was well. But it is not locked away and visible to all passing. Beware hot days. We came in lovely September weather yet the room was hot. We had the window open all night. There is a large fan which implies a problem in warm weather. There is no Aircon just underfloor heating. Could be unbearable. Room was quite small (for the price) and had very little storage - just one hanging cupboard with a shelf above. We stayed only 3 nights but even that was annoying to keep the room tidy. It would be easy to make the existing furniture with drawers. Fridge hardly worked. No USB sockets which is the norm these days as we charge things.

I thought the choices were just fine. I liked having the nice hot coffee any way we wanted it deliver to our tables by friendly staff.

Too bad the staff aren’t there on a regular basis

La camera era dotata unicamente da ventilatore come da indicazioni della prenotazione. Tuttavia tale era insufficiente per mantenere una temperatura vivibile in camera. Reception poco presente (orari assai ridotti)
