Radisson Blu Hotel Altstadt

When we pulled up to the place in the Uber, it did not look particularly inviting. But it turns out it is an old hotel in a very old building, and is beautifully redone inside. There was a bit of a labyrinthian path to our room, which was really much more like a suite. It was very large compared to most hotel rooms in European cities, with a lot of sitting area. The staff had left us welcome fruit and champagne, which was a nice touch. Everything was very well maintained and it had all the amenities. And walking out the front door (as it turned out we had arrived at the back) put us directly on the main walking street in the old town. The staff were extremely friendly and the breakfast was very good. We have nothing bad to say about this place.

The location was great, and the view to the Danube river was awesome

The room size was great but the twin beds were a bit small for 2 petite women. I can't imagine how uncomfortable these could be for large or tall men.

Great position on sea front. Lovely open spaces in hotel. Lively bar. Helpful staff.
