Hotel Schloss Leopoldskron

Breakfast room and staff were gra nd. We appreciated having a bar in the annex the view of the ALP was magical. thank you for the memorable stay.

We were drawn to stay here because of the Sound of Music, and it was totally worth it! I cannot emphasize how gorgeous the views are! The property is a delightful retreat! The water and Mountain Views are restorative as you sit and enjoy a bite to eat or drink in peace. There’s even a fire pit by evening; I just wanted to stay out and enjoy being there. Breakfast on the balcony was incredible and the staff service phenomenal! We did try out the mini golf next door (it was hard!) and I wish I had more time to visit the pool/waterpark but nice included vouchers with our stay. I loved the treasures of memorabilia around the property and visiting the palace rooms and library. Again with more time would have just enjoyed sitting and reading a book with a view. A wedding happened the day we arrived and what a delight it would be to return like the couple plans to and make this place a recurring visit ! Salzburg and this hotel will definitely make you want to stay!

We stayed in the annex and the room is basic so certainly there are cheaper options for a stay but you can’t beat the experience! Just wish I could have stayed longer!! Also would be great to have a full scale restaurant option for longer stays. The cafe menu was limited. But we walked to a nearby restaurant for dinner.

It was a dream! So beautiful. Enjoyed the historical aspect and the visuals.

The shower was so slippery we fell and almost cracked our heads. Air conditioning didn’t work and staff couldn’t fix it so we had hot air blowing when the temperature was set to 18 degrees. Staff at the front desk weren’t very friendly (but Marijana and Gulli at the breakfast buffet were lovely!!).
