Aparthotel Vicini

Large room with a balcony overlooking another restaurant courtyard. The balcony was shared with the room next door. We thought it may be noisy with the restaurant below but it was ok and nice and sunny in the afternoons. The hotel has lots of character inside with a few quirky details and our room was very clean. The reception staff were pleasant and helpful. The hotel is well placed for the Jewish Quarter with good restaurants all around (we particularly liked the two either side of the hotel). The hotel only does breakfast at the weekend but provides vouchers for another hotel nearby and that breakfast was excellent. It's worth getting the vouchers for the weekend days too since its much better than the hotel offering.

The wifi in our room (15) was not good at all. The signal was generally weak and kept dropping out all together. It was better on the balcony but too cold to sit out there to get access all the time. There was an unpleasant smell in the bathroom and we had to keep the window wide open to help. The breakfast in the hotel was nicely cooked and good choices from a menu but there were no extras at all - fruit, yoghurt, pastries etc.

Great location and well decorated interiors, spacious room and comfortable bed

The room smelled like someone had done a heavy workout in it. No air conditioning and on the hot day it felt really bad. Might be great for winter time. The smell died down a bit after leaving the windows open for a while but was there again after we came back from dinner

Clean place and friendly staff. Good for one night, and nice to have water in the room.

We have to change our room because of the smoke. If you don’t like smoke, avoid rooms with a balcony. There are tables right outside where people sit and smoke, so it comes straight into your room. The room was tiny, the bed wasn’t very comfortable, and the pillows and blankets were big and bulky, leaving no space. Also, no place to put clothes.
