Such a lovely quiet hotel, all staff were lovely and friendly. Bed was very comfortable. Surprised we had to pay to park.

How quiet, relaxing situation the hotel is , right beside a canal ,with walking distance to a pub , driveway to hotel a little secluded ,along a long narrow track ,great place for cosy get togethers, weddings a must , food excellent, rooms clean and bathrooms with bath and over shower , great tiolet accessorie products , hairdryer ,iron and board, plenty of hanging space ,also kettle and beverages, rooms are a good size ,staff are brilliant and friendly. Only one grumble is the car parking ,plenty of space ,but to charge and scan Q card daily ???? , I give it 10/10 .

Room was very comfortable and well maintained. Overall the hotel has a nice setting and is fairly well looked after (decorators were in during our stay). Staff were friendly.

The TV in the room wasn't connected to the internet so had no streaming services, and the WiFi connection in general was very poor. Had to pay a hefty additional fee for car parking on arrival (despite the hotel being in a very remote rural location) which wasn't totally clear when booking and made a significant difference to the overall cost of the stay, which would likely have influenced the decision about where to book had it been clearer.
