It was very welcoming and in a stunning location. The room was comfortable and very clean.

Great location. If you want to enjoy the lake or the numerous nearby hikes, it also has a nice, cosy bar and reasonable food in the restaurant.
The room had no aircon, so it was boiling, even with a fan and the window open. This was in September, too. I have no idea what it would be like in the peak of a heatwave in summer (unbearable, I would imagine). The breakfast was okay, but pretty average for the money they charge in this place. I thought the accommodation itself was pretty basic.

Good available parking, welcoming staff, clean rooms with a good view , beautiful grounds leading down to the lake.
The rooms were a little too warm . The jetty is broken so the launch cannot stop

The location is good, around half a mile from the village. The property is very dog friendly.
One staff member was unfriendly and unhelpful. He might have been the Manager. I was told that if I didn’t gave my room cleaned, I could have a free drink each day. When I tried to redeem this, I couldn’t because I didn’t want the app. As a result my towels were not replaced, coffee etc not replenished and no free drink to boot. They also would not let me amend my booking (you can only do it 7 days before) and deals are available that I wasn’t informed about.
