The hotel is well located, which was the main positive of our stay.

Housekeeping was a real letdown. Used cups were left uncleared in the room, the furniture and bathroom had not been properly cleaned, and there was no tissue, tea, or coffee supplied — despite our booking four rooms, including a junior suite. The junior suite itself was disappointing. It is noticeably small for the category and does not justify the premium charged over a standard room. Guests paying suite rates will expect meaningfully more space than we received. We were also asked for a £100 security deposit, which was not made clear at the time of booking. I understand pre-authorisation is used by some hotels, but it should be communicated in advance so guests aren’t caught off guard at check-in. For a hotel of this brand and price point, these are basic standards that should be met — particularly on a group booking of this size.
