All staff were very friendly and lovely. Dinner was great! Good value for money.

A bit farther from the airport than I thought but was able to get the Uber from the staff.

All fine and low key. Food good staff great and helpful Overall quite acceptable and good for the price.

No real swimming pool. A little run down- needs some maintenance eg some of the faucets need replacing as they are not easy to switch off.

I normally never write reviews about my stay in other lodges because often I am disappointed by what I find. On this occassion however, I thought I will write because the place has exceeded my expectations. It's quiet, comfortable, more like home away from home. The food was great and staff attentive.

On the description on booking.com they have stated that electric blanket is included, which it wasn't. They either need to add those or remove it from booking.com. Having said so, the room was warm and comfortable.

Pretty and comfortable facilities

The staff made all the effort so we feel comfortable, however it seems like they are a bit clueless.,. Dinner was good. We ordered half board, and we could pick anything from the restaurants menu,

We ordered a ride from the airport. We notified the hotel 24 hours in advance that the time was changed. The hotel approved, but did not come to pick us up at the right time.i had to call them from the airport. Internet in the room doesn't work. Many disconnections. The owner tried to help by rebooting the routers. We left early and asked for a packed breakfast. We got nice sandwiches but there was nothing else. Our children who did not like the sandwich had nothing to eat... I expected more variety.

Loved having airport shuttle prearranged and close proximity to airport for early morning flights. Rooms were nice size.

Beds rather hard and not the most comfortable, rooms could use a bit more maintenance and fixing of items not working properly.

Location perfect to stay because close to airport. Airport shuttle quiet convenient. Facility environment very peaceful for overnight stay before and after flight. Food available on location.

Coming home to Africa is what our stay at the Avant Garde Lodge feels like every time. This was our 3x time we were there, the 4th time is already booked. Super nice place close to the airport and for us ideal to start and end your Southern Africa roundtrip. Armand and his team are super hospitable and deliver great service. See you soon.

Perhaps another night's stay would have been more relaxing.

The lodge is very conveniently close to the airport. We had a very early flight but the hotel staff brought us there in time.

The Manager and Staff were very friendly, flexible and helpful. The Lodge is surrounded by a beautifull garden that invites for relaxation. The airport is close and the shuttle for the lodge super and cheap! We would come anytime again.

This place is a heaven just a few km from the airport. They have a good restaurant for dinner and drinks. After booking 1 night we added a day use of Rand 900 (march 2023) to use the room until we had to go to the airport at 21.30. So we could enjoy the place the full day, the food, the pool within a beautiful green, quiet area and lovely people at the hotel. Instead of hanging around the city a full day, we could relax and go to our flight back home totally fresh and relaxed.

Clean, spacious room. Tea and coffee making facilities. Good evening meal.

Sparse furnishings in the room. Only one bottle of water for 2 people. Ran out of breakfast food (bacon) by 09.30.
