The Marions Suite - Central Comfortable Stay in Taksim

The place had a lot of character and the staff were really friendly, always greeted with a smile and felt very welcome. Our room was top floor and was peaceful enough. The bed was large and comfortable, the room was cosy, the breakfast was lovely, mix of healthy and hearty options, fresh fruit and nice coffees. Location was 5 mins walk to Taksim square. 15min walk to ferry to the Asian side. Honestly all round great experience.

General maintenance of the room - shower head needs fixing and one of the lights kept flickering. Didn’t affect our stay though.

We absolutely loved our stay at The Marions Suite. The hospitality was genuinely the best we have experienced across our travels in the Middle East, Asia and Europe. Ersan, the hotel manager, was incredibly warm and welcoming, and Şefik and Yakuq at reception were always so kind, helpful and friendly. They all made us feel completely at home from the moment we arrived. The location is excellent, making it very convenient to explore Taksim, İstiklal and the surrounding areas. Our room was cozy, spacious and very clean, and we really appreciated the recommendations from the team for things to do and places to visit nearby — their recommendations were genuinely great. The breakfast was the absolute highlight of our stay. Farida, the breakfast chef, prepared such a delicious spread every morning. Honestly, if you stay at this hotel, you don’t need to go searching elsewhere for a Turkish breakfast — the breakfast here was that good! We also loved how transparent and fair the hotel was. There were no unnecessary charges or attempts to add extra costs. Overall, everything felt thoughtful, comfortable and genuinely hospitable.

Honestly, we had a wonderful stay and didn’t have any significant complaints. Everything was well taken care of, and the staff were always happy to help. Mustafa at the bar was also very friendly and added to the warm, welcoming atmosphere of the hotel.

The room was on the ground floor, and cigarette smoke as well as street noise entered from outside. There were visible signs of mold in the shower. In both the shower and the sink, the hot and cold water were connected incorrectly, with the hot and cold sides reversed.
