It was authentic just what we were expecting, old with a lovely atmosphere. Situated in the lovely City of Wells in the market square perfect for seeing all the sights.
It’s an old pub so you expect certain things like creaking floors etc which was fine, the only tiny criticism we had was out 4 poster bed was dusty everything else was excellent!

Perfect location very near cathedral. Room was simple but adequate, clean and comfortable. Dinner and breakfast were excellent. Staff very helpful and happy to chat.
Only had net curtain at window so no curtain to close at night. (Room 5)

The location was excellent. Close to the Cathedral, shops and restaurants.
Some of the younger staff were quite rude and arrogant. The older staff were very helpful and friendly.
The water pressure was very low, it was time consuming to have a shower. The staff checked and said it was an ongoing problem due to the age of the building.
