West Rocks Hotel

Clean, nice big double room, our bed was very comfortable, bathroom was huge

Our son said his single bed wasn’t very comfortable but as he’s used to a large double bed this could have been the issue

The staff were very friendly, the location was amazing, the breakfast was good, and the decor was nice.

The room was a bit run-down, especially the bathroom. There was no parking but this seems common for the area.

Brilliant view!

A choice of breakfasts

Great location with sea view

Understaffed. My room had not been prepared properly: The windows were open and it was impossible for me to close them. The receptionist said it took all his strength to do so. Consequently I couldnt open and close the windows myself during my stay. The windows need to be adjusted to be useable! Clunky old wardrobe with doors that didnt fit. The tv remote didnt work so asked for new batteries. However the tv still didnt work at all. After many attempts the receptionist gave up and brought another tv. The next day my room was not made up. After the second night they came and replaced towels in my room but didnt make the bed. Totally inadequate level of checking the room before my stay and room servicing during my stay.
